Not worth the money!
This is the second one I bought, thought I would give a shot again. WRONG CHOICE!! got it in September stopped working in March and the Fitbit support was no help. The screen went blank so checked battery was charged to 70% put on charger to see if that would work. Next day screen came back on later in the day it stop vibrating for the timer and the alarms didn’t work. Tried to reset it but the icon would keep going on and off. Would not sync so called Fitbit tec support, said couldn’t help me because it was out of warranty. Explained he was looking at information from the first one I had before. Still just kept saying not under warranty could not see the new one synced in September. No help at all just said to try to reset it, which I told him did that and the icon just keeps going on and off. Sooo frustrating! Gave up that day set it aside for a few days looked at for some strange reason it was working again all of a sudden but my setting preferences were gone so set them up again. A few days later it stops working again so tried to reset it again Again the icon flash on and off. Have been restarting the process over again and again. This is what keeps happing now for a month. Works when it wants. And Fitbit support NO HELP!!!! Don’t waste your money or time with Fitbit products Look at the YouTube videos about this happening

From Versa Lite to Versa Bites (the dust)....
Initially, I loved this watch. I was given a Versa watch before this, but it fell apart; literally it came apart after a year and I'm not rough with watches at all. But, I really enjoyed it so I bought this one (Versa Lite) in August 2020. Sigh. It worked great. It was really doing a good job motivating me with my steps and fitness. Then a week ago, I made the fatal mistake of updating to the constantly suggested firmware. Before the update, my watch stayed charged at least 4 days, after the update it would need recharging every 12 hours. Then just a day ago it started only holding a charge for 2 hours or so. And now, today, my Fitbit just completely died. I'm really disappointed that after 5 months and $110, my Fitbit died. I can't bring myself to purchase another one even though I really love it because after a quick Google search, the reduced battery charge after completing firmware updates seems to have been an ongoing issue since at least 2016. But in my case, all they did was convince a guaranteed lifetime customer to seek a different product, which is very disheartening considering how much I really loved their Versa brand. UPDATE: I called Fitbit, they troubleshot my watch, confirmed I was still under warranty and gave me a choice of 50% off an upgraded watch or send another replacement of my current watch for free. I like my current watch, so I opted for that. If your watch is giving you problems or dies and it's been less than a year since you purchased it, call them and they will help you find the best solution. All of their watches in the U.S. have a one year warranty that they honor. Thank you Fitbit!

Great smartwatch unless using music controls
EDIT: Was able to fix the issue with music controls, which required a full factory reset. After that, it seems to be working. However, my start rating remains as a factory reset should be the LAST resort and certainly shouldn't need to be done after owning something for less than a week. Overall, this is a great smartwatch. This is my first smartwatch and therefore, my first Fitbit. Some of the great things of this watch include ease of use, thanks to the app; app is easy to download and adjust to your own personality; a lot of customization turns the watch into your own. My main, MAIN annoyance with this and why this only gets 4 stars is the music controls. Every review and every overview talk about the greatest of the music controls, which are great. When it works. Even with two updates, the music controls last for about 5 minutes or less before they suddenly disconnect and just turn off. This is an issue with the Versa Lite Classic. I have no idea why there needs to be TWO bluetooth connections to one device, but I don't have ANY issues with keeping my watch connected, nor do I have issues with keeping other bluetooth devices connected to my phone, except music controls. Worse, this has apparently been an issue for TWO YEARS! If I had known that Fitbit was the Microsoft/Windows 10 of smartwatches, I may changed my decision. Contacting support through actual support doesn't do anything and I'm going to try to email them (though I feel like that's not going to even do anything). I'm extremely disappointed in these companies that are aware of issues, but never address them, thereby leaving customers frustrated and annoyed. If the music controls are what you're going for, I would avoid Fitbit and find something; if you're looking for more of the activity features, then I would suggest this watch especially.

Purchased for my very active wife. She loves it and all the info it conveys to her during her day. Loves the fit, colour and battery life which is about 7-8 days before recharging.
