One has a chip in the paint and one doesn't close all the way, but I only need one and the chip isn't noticable from 2ft away so it works

To be just some kind of metal and not actually gold they have made it they all those many times I forget to remove them before showers, no change of color or integrity have been noticed, just had to push the stem a bit higher to give it a stronger lock as I’m a mechanic and always moving….
