As a person who is an Amateur radio operator, if this radio operate on the frequencies that is posted, stay clear of it. Part 95 of the FCC code states, if you don’t have a license for at least 420-440 Mhz, finds start at $5000.00 per transmission, so if you don’t want to tangle with people that can make your life miserable for a long time, try using the Family Service Radio, or better yet, spend some time and get your license, you might like the wonderful life of ham radio.

ok the guy that gave the one star review is wrong the feq that require a permet is anything over 700mhz 400-475 is legal to use. I know this because i use this for airsoft. actualy this radio and the 777 is the most popular in the sport. so if a 100 people can use them at the same time its not illegal.
