great tool , the fitting is for real universal , Mach perfectly my DeWalt 12 gallon stealth shop vac , for 2 1\2 fitting direct in the appliance , also come with a coupling that help to use the OEM hose , so you can get even more length , totally recommended , also can be reduced to adapted to any other power tool that has 1 1\2 fitting

I was looking for a 2 1/2" size hose that is the maximum thickness supported by my Dewalt Stealthsonic Vacuum Model DXV05S-QT natively. It worked BEAUTIFULLY with the unit and at 20 ft, it eliminates the need for you to drag the vacuum across floor. You just leave it in one place and use the long hose to do the specialized cleaning, in this case a flight room for my birds. The advantage of using the maximum supported hose size of 2 1/2" is that nothing gets stock inside the hose. It powerfully vacuums everything out and opens the space all the way up to the receiving end which is a 2 1/2" attachment at the vacuum end natively. The one that is stock with the vacuum is a smaller diameter. It is also anti static. The options for a clear anti static hose that I searched a lot for are difficult to come by in longer length and very pricey. This one won't give you a clear view because it is black, but works without a hiccup. I use my vacuum for many purposes and have collected all sorts of attachments for every situation but without a 2 1/2" hose, collection wouldn't be as functional. Now I can tackle every wet and dry situation. The only downside is managing the long thick hose. It is almost like handling a thick snake. It comes with several useful adapters as well.

This 2 1/2 inch diameter 20 foot length hose was exactly what I needed to clean out my metal dryer vent duct. I bought this on Amazon along with a Craftsman CMXEVBE17607, 16 Gallon, 6.5 Peak HP wet and dry vacuum that replaced a 35 year old shop vac. The hose is heavy duty and the included adapters made it easy to attach to the shop vac. The long hose length enabled me to clean most of the lint that was inside the duct without a mess spilling onto my lawn. I also found the 20 foot hose length made clean up in my garage and my car a lot easier than dragging around a shop vacuum with a shorter hose.

There were a few 1 star ratings on this product siting missing attachments and a "flimsy" hose. The product that was delivered to me had ALL of the attachments AND we at least as sturdy, if not more, than the original hose that I was replacing. It fit my Craftsman shop vac perfectly and I am VERY satisfied with this product!

Good quality hose

I was so glad to find the perfect replacement hose for my 30 year old Craftsman Shop Vac. It now works just like new! The package included several adapters to fit different models, including the one I needed.

This is the best quality and value 20 foot hose I was able to source. Used it to clean my 3 furnace cold air returns. Note furnace must be turned off!! Extremely flexible and yet stiff enough to feed around 1 duct bend in system. Twist it around like you would do with a wire or plumbing fish first and then connect to shop vac and switch on. Was able to feed hose approximately 15 feet into ducts. When vac is on again twist repeatedly clockwise and counter clockwise when retracting. Repeat process several times. Hose contacts ducting, knocking dust loose while suctioning. Inspect with mirror and light where possible. A person rotating the hose at the shop vac connection is of major benefit in process. Not 100% perfect but I consider 80% most acceptable. NOTE* If you are not capable of getting right down on the floor and not flexible enough to stretch out and reach into said ducting to perform this task; you most likely should not attempt!!

This is a good quality hose and came with a three different adapters to work with a few brands of vaccuum cleaners. The hose itself has a slightly different construction right near the ends to improve longevity wear the most bending will occur. The connectors fit my Shop Vac nicely.
