Perfect for Clear Stocks
I bought this cheesecloth with one goal in mind: making homemade bone broth. I am passionate about and extremely proud of my homemade stocks. My husband is a bit of a soup conneseiur (we have soup for dinner typically once a week, and if I don't make it, he gets it out of a can). Many Sundays I spend all day making stocks from chicken carcasses, and I needed a high quality, high grade cheesecloth to remove as many impurities and ensure I had a clear and healthy broth. This 90 grade cloth works exactly as I expect to. To speed things up in an already time-consuming process, after cooling the broth, I lay strips of this over my gravy separator and drain the broth through 4 cups at a time. I get a very nice stock out of it without bones, gristle, cartilage, veggies and herbs, etc. My broth is always clean and delicious. Much better than the lower 50/60 grade cheesecloths I have purchased in the past. You get a TON of cloth here, and one layer serves my purpose at a time, so even with as much as I make stock, it lasts forever. More expensive, yes, but worth every penny I paid. I will always recommend this for stock making.

It is pretty decent quality
The cheesecloth arrived quickly. It is pretty decent quality, I was expecting it to be a little sturdier though. I love that it is unbleached, but with that come a fair bit of fibers that will need to be removed prior to cheese making. It isn't a big deal since it needs to be sterilized anyway before use.I love that I am able to get one continuous roll of this so that I can cut it to the sizes needed for my different cheeses. I would definitely buy this again. The cloth on the left in the picture is the new one, the one on the right is the one it is replacing- you can see that the holes are a little bigger on this unbleached one and the tiny fibers.

Great quality product for newborn photography
I must preface I bought this cheesecloth not for food. I recently have been doing a lot of newborn photography. Using regular cheese cloth for Joann Fabrics has been an awful experience for making swaddles/wraps. This cheese cloth worked great. It held up to my first newborn shoot and can be used again. It took the dye well too. My only hang up was you have to cut the cheese cloth (length wise) and it runs a lot. I had to cut off stray strands here and there after it went through the wash and tangled all up around itself. In addition, there are some spots where the holes got a little bit bigger than I would like, but that's not something that will be noticeable in the long run since it will be wrapped around a baby. Great price- it made 4 newborn wraps.

I purchased this to creatively strain things in the Kitchen ...
I purchased this to creatively strain things in the Kitchen. I have always avoided keeping Cheesecloth on hand, but after a week where I made several sauces and other dishes that could have benefited from this level of filtering I went ahead and made the purchase.I have never actually used cheesecloth, so I went with two different grades which I will work with together or separately depending on the task I am attempting to accomplish.Upon opening the package the cheesecloth seems to be very durable, in research I find that this is often washed and reused. I could not understand how that could be possible, after handling the item I find that to be believable.I am looking forward to making some very smooth sauces and possibly some soft cheeses in the near future!

Great for Glee / Clarified Butter
Maybe it's hard to grasp the high grade of this Cheesecloth. But after having it at home I can see the fineness of the open spaces between threads. Then quality of the higher grade really pays out when I'm filtering to finish clarifying butter (using a Tsp of corn starch per pound while simmering the butter. Than filter through the cloth and you done. yes it will foam up a bit but the cloth takes that all away)

I will continue to use this product because it is very useful and definitely affordable
I have used this to make apple jelly, watermelon jelly, strawberry jelly, and clear soup broths. I am going to attempt cucumber jelly with the Jolly Chefs cheese cloth because my cucumbers went crazy and I can only make so many different kinds of pickles. I find this product to be everything it says in the description, and more. I will continue to use this product because it is very useful and definitely affordable.

Fine filtering
Excellent product with a consistent weave. Very fine filtering with a single layer of cloth placed in a sieve. If multiple layers of cheesecloth are used, very small particles are filtered, but speed slows down and filter may clog, requiring rinsing. It is easy to wash, but it can also be cut into small squares (use a rolling knife) for sieve liners and discarded after each use. There is enough cheesecloth (36 x 72 inches) for 72 6-inch or 32 9-inch squares.Prompt delivery.

Looks good but have not used yet
Have not used yet (making broth, covering turkey) but it looks far superior to the flimsy cheesecloth you see at the grocery store. Would probably work very well as a spice bag when required in a recipe.

and can assure you this is the best cheesecloth I have had so far
I had this for a month now and only decided to write a review after using them, and can assure you this is the best cheesecloth I have had so far. You can use it comfortably knowing that no harsh chemical is used to bleach it, it comes with fine strands to strain anything you need, basting and anything you may need to do in the kitchen!

Wonderful.
Good price for a good cheesecloth that has not been bleached. Great for making bouquet garni bags and wrapping turkey or chicken carcasses for soup without digging out bones etc. Great.

Cheese cloth used for roasting.
I cut up and use a part of this cloth to go over my Christmas turkey while cooking. The cloth does the job well.
