Dreumex Food Contact Disinfecting Wipes, Large Multipurpose Wet Wipes for Surfaces, 6 Canisters of 100 Count

3 of 6 containers had been opened and were completely dry. What a disaster. Never again will I purchase these.

shipping: for some reason this came in a huge box--lots of wasted space unfortunately. Really could have fit a bunch of them in there instead of the one received. The other problem was the top arrived broken so i needed to duck tape it. It was fractured in several spots, though not so badly that I couldn't hold it together with the tape Besides shipping issues, these are a nice product. They come out nice and wet, which is good as you want to leave the counter wet to have the full effect. They're a good size--in the sweet spot between too small and too big to allow for efficient wiping of counters and appliances. The material is strong so you can do a lot of work with them, flip them over and continue. If you weren't concerned so much with the disinfecting and just wanted to clean, you could definitely use them multiple times. Can't judge the disinfecting (for some reason I don't have CSI like equipment to see how sanitized our counters are), but if you trust the product, seems to work well. Just need to fix shipping issues as it's clear I wasn't the only one who had problems.

They work great. Have catering business and they are AWSOME to have instead of pales of water to clean with.

I'm first just going to review the actual wipes, then I will go into the company. The wipes are great. Clean greasy counters with no issues of placing food down after. I used to clean my quartz counters with disinfecting wipes, then rinse with water. Now I just use these wipes, no rinsing, no worries. Now the company....the description says I would receive six containers of wipes. I received one with a completely broken top that had been package taped together. When I emailed the company of the missing five and broken lid, they rectified the situation by sending me one unbroken container. I'm unhappy with the company, but do like the wipes. I cannot recommend them based on this.

My order was for 6 containers as you can see in the photo I only received 2 containers and no word on the other 4 containers!!!

As a very advanced Home and Personal Chef with a Food Blog, Video sites, and Social Media cooking sites, I am constantly working with a variety of foods, cooking utensils, and other items. Cross-contamination is a constant threat due to the variety of meats, poultry, fish, and produce that I work with on the same counters, cutting boards, and cooking equipment. In the past, I have used a 2-5% bleach concentration to disinfect and clean counters, cutting boards and cookware, but that requires wiping again afterward, and not really taking care of some types of bacteria and viruses that may permeate the areas wiped. Clorox and similar wipes are also a pain because while they eliminate a number of problem pathogens and bacteria, the areas and items have to be wiped or cleaned again afterward before placing food items on the cleaned surfaces. The Dreumex wipes eliminate all of those issues and have the added bonus of killing Influenza-A virus (Bad this year), HIV, and 99.99% of other bacteria like E Coli, and Salmonella that have proven to be extreme problems over the last year or two. The beauty of these wipes is that you wipe and let dry! PERIOD! That's it. No worries about contact with food after drying at all, and perfectly safe for use. Meets Health Department requirements as well which is important for a home-based catering business. Easy peasy, and highly effective. In addition to the kitchen, these wipes are excellent for a large number of other uses for disinfecting and cleaning surfaces like toilets, tables, and other non-porous surfaces. I introduced this product to my son's school where fully one-third of the Students were absent with the Flu-A last week and they were scrambling to clean all the classrooms, desks and chairs to try and mitigate further spread. (My son was one of the infected...and gave it to me as well!) The teachers read the specifications of the Dreumex wipes and are pushing to replace their current method with these wipes through school district purchase after realizing how much more effective the Dreumex wipes would be. All in all, I am extremely pleased with the product the time-savings they provide. I feel much more comfortable using my large plastic cutting boards after wiping with these than I did with just bleach-based products. My comfort level in my kitchen with regards to cleanliness and safety has risen considerably after using these excellent wipes. VERY Highly Recommended for any use that requires effective and easy disinfection! A+++

We have six indoor cats that walk all over our kitchen counters, so using disinfectant wipes to wipe off the counters is standard operating procedure in our household. We usually buy the Clorox wipes, but I was curious to see how these Dreumex wipes compare. I received only a single canister in today’s mail for this review. The lid on the wipes fits very snuggly and is not easy to remove. I was surprised to see there was no inner cover to remove like the ones other brands use to keep the wipes fresh until opened. The wipes are plenty moist, though. They are softer and a little larger than the other brands, which I really like. I was able to wipe down more areas with them before having to use another wipe. They do not have any residual smell. My only complaint is they leave my hands feeling sticky. These are soft, large wipes that are easy to use. They are priced significantly higher than more commonly known brands. Since they are advertised to kill viruses including HIV their higher price may be justified in medical and commercial food preparation settings.

These are great ways to wipe off counters and other kitchen surfaces and feel like you are doing a good job of protecting your family and friends from germs. However, these show also be easy to use and they are surprisingly not. Just getting the tab top open continues to be difficult even after using them for a while now. I learned when you pull out a sheet you need to stop as soon as just a bit of the next sheet is through the opening or the tab closure will not close and the next sheet with dry out making it useful. The wetness of the sheets is really on the bottom half but that's a common problem with this style of pull out disposable cleaning sheets. I'm not honestly sure why these are safer to use than other multipurpose cleaning sheets in the kitchen.
