This is a great book for beginner weavers. There are 25 projects, most of which are various styles of wall hangings featuring different stitches and techniques as well as interesting ideas for adding texture, dimension, negative/open space and bling (like beads and lace). There are also a few other non-wall hangings like placemats, coasters and eyeglass cases and some projects where weavings are applied to other pieces - like tote bags and pillows. Beginner weavers looking for patterns and specific instructions will find it easy to follow the colored graphs and step-by-step instructions for each project and more advanced weavers will find inspiration in the wide array of styles and techniques.

This is an excellent book. I taught myself to weave using this, without knowing anything about the craft. I am now selling my work.

I was an absolute beginner when I purchased this book. I have made four tapestry wall hangings and my loom is "warped up" for a fourth. Excellent, easy to follow instructions. Charts, and photos make everything so easy.

Totally love this book. Techniques are taught first. Then the author gives directions to weave attractive wall hangings and other projects. Lots of color pictures match the directions. Great book.

This book has some great guidance on looms and the process; however, most of the projects are dated wall hangings that are just dust catchers. It does have some great diagrams for making patterns.

I found this book pretty disappointing, the first part was not very well presented and the projects where very similar to each other. I am a weaver and I also do tapestry weaving and was looking for some progressives ideas into modern projects. Will return the book.

Great ideas in the book at different levels, from beginners to more advanced weavers. I love the more modern ideas.

Lovely book with lots of modern projects mostly wall hangings but covers all the basic techniques useful for different weaving styles

I am a first timer to weaving and wanted some basic tips. The book provided that. I think you can get better inspiration from Etsy and Pinterest but some of the patterns in the book will be very useful.
