lab1st 3 Gallon Vacuum Chamber and 3 CFM Pump Kit for Degassing Silicone Epoxy

I was very excited about this Lab 1st Vacuum Chamber because my friend recommended it. However, when I got it, the handle was already broken.

I have used it one time but I am hooked. I love it. I've never even seen one before but I put it together and used it and it was wonderful

The chamber itself is nice, but the pump i received is complete a$$. Dies after -5 Hg and yes i know how to operate this pump. Also would have been nice to have a eu to us outlet converter in the box. I Don’t recommend this product with the pump.

I’m using this to degass silicone/resins for molds, castings and other things like that. The product itself works fairly well for the price.HOWEVER, the pot itself has a slightly protruding bottom so it doesn’t sit perfectly flat. Which wouldn’t be a huge problem but because of this you have to push down hard on the lid while trying to get it to seal so that it pops the bottom upwards inside the pot. Kind of makes it a pain when you’re using faster setting materials.The reason I gave it 1 star is because I reached out to the company about the issue the day that I received it. That was over a month ago and I never heard back once, so beware if you have any issues you’ll probably be on your own.

I originally incorrectly received the EU model of the pump, the customer service was INCREDIBLY prompt and responsive (at a late hour no less) and got the correct model shipped out to me right away. The equipment itself is super easy to use and works great!

Was impressed to have it work so well. Still good after about 10 uses:).

The vacuum pump came with a non-American power cord, which explains why this unit was so inexpensive. Expect to need an adapter or rewire a new cord into the pump.

Amazing product for the price.
