Fancy Nancy: JoJo's First Day Jitters

My granddaughters are huge Fancy Nancy fans and I am a huge fan of my granddaughters! They love hearing the story again and again and lifting the flaps. Their giggles just never get old!

I love all the Fancy Nancy books...Great illustrations, darling vocabulary with the opportunity for a small child to enhance their own vocabulary and always a good little lesson at the end.

My granddaughters have quite a few of these books and this one is in their current night time rotation. They love it. Thanks, Jane O'Connor for another great story!

My great-granddaughter loves Fancy Nancy books and this one was no exception. I gave it to her the day before she began kindergarten and she enjoyed it very much.

I love the Fancy Nancy series. The colors, "fancy" vocabulary, and flip books are great for kids. This is a cute story showing how JoJo prepares the night before school and the hesitation the morning of. It doesn't show her actual first day of school, it stops at the car ride to school. Cute story, you can tie in into feelings and emotions.

Jojo is nervous to go to school but Nancy comes up with some helpful ideas to make Jojo's first day a little easier. I found the ending a little off, just seemed not long enough of an end of something, but aside from that the story is fun and my 4 year old enjoyed all of the flapped pictures. She picks this one most often out of her whole collection (aside from the original Fancy Nancy).

Great book

I returned this book. There was hardly any story to it. I was so disappointed as I believe the author really could have ran with this title as the other fancy nancy stories are so good.
