Reality
I didn't like this book because i was looking for something that was more fictional and cutesy, it didn't really appeal to me because it wasn't fictional and cutesy. I believe that it is good to read a book twice, because you understand more about the book or at least you have a different thought about. This book, is the reality, I figured that out after my second read. When i first read it i was a junior in high school, second time i was a senior. Not much of a time gap but a lot can happen in a year. Therefore, from my own biased point of view, I believe that mothers or parents or guardians who have rated this book poorly are trying to trap their young one in the fictional, land of fantasy where in middle school and high school everything goes perfectly and if you get in trouble, your friends and family will back you up. In that world, if you fail something a teacher is willing to go the extra mile to make sure you pass, or if you're in a rut and no one can help you a prince charming arrives. This is NOT a bad book, well i guess it depends on the reader. No books are bad just because your expectations are not met. This book may be inappropriate with some vulgar words but that's because it's actually happening, pre-teens are saying these things, doing these things, and being that way. If you think its safe to keep your child away from reality and helping them set unrealistic expectations, you're wrong; it's cute the first few years but in middle school, they're going to have to learn that reality doesn't work like that.P.S. all these things are opinions.

Predictable but good
This book is perfect for young middle schoolers trying to find their way around friend issues, drama, and popularity as well as discovering who they really are. I would recommend this book to kids ages 10-13 because it is very predictable as you grow older. However, it is a very fun and quick read and is a well written and unique book because it is set up like a journal.I loved this book!

Amazing book, coming from a 12 year old with middle school experience.
This book is a great quick read. I finished it in a single day. I was unwilling to put it down. Lauren Myracle did great on all the characters. Props to her!I recommend this book for children 12 and up, because of the content in it. Depending on the maturity of the reader, they can read it a little earlier if they please.Great book, I will definitely be purchasing more of Lauren' s books in the future.

Excellent!
I personally enjoyed this book. I must admit that some expieriences were realistic, and some were not, but that is what I love about it. I would never read a book that just re-states my entire life. Some of the things that were said to be inappropriate definitely caught me off guard, but they honestly don't bother me anymore. I hear worse things everyday. In my opinion, the appropriate age to read this book is 7th grade. The reason being is that the main character in the book is in 7th grade, and that it is the age where many kids start to mature. Overall, this was a very well-written and enjoyable book!

I really enjoyed this book
This book helped me understand how middle school might be like. It really is quite funny, and tells you stuff that mean girls will do just to embarrass some one. I highly recommend this book. (P.S. Parents, because there is some inappropriate content in this book, I would recommend letting your son or daughter read this book at age 12)

Finished in a hour
This book was so good I picked it out for my daughter and she loved it, but it is for kids a little older due to some cuss words but not a lot.

Very good.
I seriously loved this book, however the ending was very abrupt. I wish it was longer and much more elaborated. Still overall very good.

Fashion disaster
It was an ok book. I liked it but I did not like it as much as I like the Canterwood crest books.
