Comfy, competent, good looking, good price
I am a reasonably well endowed woman, so standard life jackets aren't just uncomfortable, they actually impede my breath, usually. This one is just a tiny bit short to fit under my bosom (I wish they had front adjustment, as well as back) but I'm also very long in the torso, so others may disagree. This is 1 of 2 reasons for 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, though, it's pretty comfy, I can move, kayak with ease, did not feel short of breath.My closest lake access is a busy area where boat accidents are not uncommon. So I wanted to feel confident that if I capsized or was hit and knocked out, I could count on this device to work. So I ordered two refills and jumped in the deep end of the pool! It inflated in about 3 seconds, inflated fully, the whistle, manual tube, and reflectors were easily accessible. I'm a pretty strong swimmer and I couldn't go under when I tried. The shape inclined me to be on my back, head up - a great position if I were knocked unconscious.I let it dry 24 hours and got out the instructions to recharge/repack- read the manual cover to cover. It is poorly translated from Chinese and some of the tiny pictures don't show much. (I had to borrow reading glasses!) So I'm not sure if I folded it right or if that will impede its inflation next time. The other reason for 4 stars, not 5. Otherwise, I think I could get it recharged/repacked in about 10 minutes.Overall, a comfy, competent, and good looking product for cheaper than retail stores.
