My son is 32" and 27lbs. we tried a 30-50 lbs DBX vest that fit well. will this fit the same? photos on children?

We don't have photos of children wearing this model. However, it does fit very well, is extremely durable, and the straps do adjust so your child can make use of it well into the 50lb range.

Will it turn a child in face up position?

My 4 year old and 2 year old wear the same size and they both are face up in this jacket. I don't know how it would be for a younger child. My 2 year old is about 26 pounds.

Is there a leg strap on the 50-90lb jacket?

No. The 50-90 lb vest does not have a leg strap. The 30-50 lb vest does have a strap. Unfortunately, the 30-50 lb size vest keeps showing up on this page, incorrectly described, as a variation. I am working with Amazon to get the 30-50 lb vest permanently moved to its own page so that there is no more confusion. Most of the reviews complaining that the vest is too small most likely received the 30-50 lb version of the vest and didn't realize it.

Can this be used for swimming at the beach, or is it not recommended for that but more for boat/tubing use?

I use it for both. My boys swim well but when we are floating down a river they wear their jackets, and of course for boating/tubing.
