The price was also cheaper than competing products of similar size and quantity, so I decided to pull the trigger. I’m really happy that I did! I only have 12 steps, but was glad that this came with 15 treads, because I made a mistake and ruined one. Pro tip: Start peeling the backing from one end, put the end in place, and use the roller to apply and smooth it out at the same time while removing the paper. It took me about 30 minutes to apply them all, following the directions. These really look great! I took one over to my neighbors and sure enough, they are clearer than the ones he bought. Mine blend in, his are noticeable. They have a nice texture, unlike the black treads that are like sandpaper, and they appear to be firmly attached to the stairs. No problems in socks or bare feet. My wife and I are very happy with this purchase. You won’t go wrong with this product.

These are great! Don't be alarmed when taking them out of the package, they look frosted not clear but I assure you they go on clear. Our stairs are unfinished, meaning no stain or paint and you can't see anything. They've helped tremendously for my aging parents and my toddler child. They are the perfect size and super easy to install. So far we've had no issues of bubbling or losing stickiness.

I received these on Friday and I installed them on Sunday. Installation was super easy with the provided roller. They stick really well, so you have to be careful to place them correctly the first time. They look just as clear as the pictures, and look really good on my dark cherry stairs. If you have a scratch, knick, or flooring seam underneath where you put these, it is somewhat noticeable through the tread. This is something to be aware of. They feel good through my socks and are comfortable with bare feet. My stairs are 36" wide, so these covered the places where you step on the stair. The price was cheaper than the other products I looked at, so all in all, I’m very happy with this purchase.

I chose this product because I was looking to replace my old stair treads. They were very easy to put on, no bubbles and I liked the roller to go over it. The price was the best of the ones that I researched. Really like them and highly recommend this product!

We have slippery, steep wood stairs. We're not old, but we've slipped down our stairs a couple of times. These could literally be life savers. They were easy to apply, and stay stuck. They're not super clear, but they're unobtrusive, and most importantly, provide enough tread that we no longer fear slipping down the stairs.

Product is good only if you’re planning to stick it only on the flat part of the stairs. I was hoping that it would also stick to the curve edge part since I slipped and fell a few weeks ago when I accidentally stepped in those areas. But it didn’t stick well at all there, perhaps due to the ridgidity of the plastic material and how it tends to straighten itself. Now I as I am trying to remove it, its pealing the hardwood stair nose paint stain. May have created work for myself here. Also just missed the return window. Ouch.

Works very well to keep from sliding on the stairs. We have a dark brown stain and the clear tape isn’t as transparent as hoped. That’s despite trying to use the roller and plastic scraper. Overall good to improve slippage, however they might not be as invisible if you have dark wood stain. Ymmv.

So far so good. Got these for my older dogs who were slipping on my narrow wooden steps. Near invisible, not harsh on human feet, and giving my dogs the grip they need without compromising the aesthetics of the house.Hint when you lay them on the stairs, do it lightly and work your way from one side to the other to avoid air bubbles.Currently very pleased and may buy a second set.
