60ktyz 30rpm AC Synchronous Motor Gearbox Electric Motor 110V

I was having torque issues like others have stated. I also am creating halloween decorations and wanted to try the flying ghosts over a large area. After I tried different rpm's I settled on the 60 rpm motor. The motor would work fine for a while and then start to slip. I was about ready to give up or redesign the whole project. Then I reversed the motor rotation and all was good (after a few adjustments). It appears I was trying to pull 2 sides uphill and pushing 1 side downhill. Even though the motor is now pulling the longest run uphill it does not slip.

Seemed great for the first couple minutes but then stopped spinning. Very low torque and gets hotter than expected. Unfortunately waited too long to return item.

Did not work when connected to power.

I'm putting this into a 106" drop-down projector screen. It's the right (physical) size and right speed, but it doesn't have enough torque to raise the screen from the lowered position. Considering the weight of the actual screen, it's disappointing that this is unable to lift the screen. It would nice if the seller provided a torque rating. Pros: - Correct size - Spindle has the necessary hole for turn key Cons: - Lacks torque

This product arrived used. Label was wiped clean and the shaft had scratches and burrs. It had obviously been mounted on something previously. I was able to file down the burrs on the shaft to install it. The product does work, but I was under the impression that I was purchasing a new item. Hopefully, it will last as long as a brand-new item would have.
