Love this and my students love the stories. I only wish it was on a spiral binding instead, so it is easier to keep open to the page as we explore and read the story

I am an elementary music teacher, and my students LOVE these activities all the way through fifth grade. The stories are imaginative and funny. I improvise my own music to go with them, and we use them as starting points for further exploration. This is one of the number #1 books I tell my student teachers to add to their libraries when they are first beginning their careers. It's labeled ages 3-6, but my students love it even at age 11.

Love love love this book. We have used it in the classroom and at home. The kids love the movement stories and it is wonderful for getting their wiggles out. Painter and the elves is our favorite and we must have done this one dozens of times. They now make up theor own movement stories and share them with the group.

This book has a ton of different activities for a young music classroom!

Excellent stories--I've already started using them as class exercises and performance pieces for my creative dance students (ages 4-7). My only criticism of this book is that the illustrations are amateurly done and even pixelated.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I was going to attempt to write my own stories if I couldn't find a book like this, but my preschoolers have loved the silly and fun stories! Great for active/dynamic groups!
