In this review, I will moderately praise Rapesco, and strive to facilitate any unfortunate readers of this long, winding, tedious review of the positive and negative aspects of this clipboard. Beginning with the material the clipboard is made from itself, this appears to be a composite wood material- similar to, but not, MDF. The rear of this clipboard is stippled with a pattern, presumably a byproduct of the manufacture process of the composite wood material, however this serves no practical purpose. The product material is quite hard, however I doubt the tensile strength is strong enough to inflict damage to craniums unless a corner was carefully positioned as the point of impact, although again this probably won't be sufficient for cranial fracturing to occur. The clip is fashioned from metal and is silver in colour. Quite shiny it is too. Well done Rapesco, points scored there then. It is strong enough to hold properly fastened paper and the edge is quite blunt; therefore if you catch your finger in the clip by accident, you're not going to end the day in hospital with a severed digit. That's always a boon I find; and to that end, the likelihood of the more calamitous unintentionally slicing off their own thumb will always inform my choice of clipboard purchase. My only concern is that any papers held within the clipping tool may have a horizontal line indented into them if held in place for long periods of time (ie several decades). Overall, this clipboard is practical, well-wearing and goes well with shirts of most pastel colours- just avoid lilacs. It is inexpensive and won't cause injury unless inexplicably sharpened and thrown a la 'razor Frisbee.' This is a good buy.

Il n'est pas un film ou un feuilleton américain où l'on ne puisse voir des clipboards. Selon Wikipédia les premiers brevets auraient été déposés vers1970. En fait, les premières clipboards seraient apparues un siècle plus tôt. Mais, dans leur forme actuelle elles ont acquis leurs lettres de noblesse comme la Jeep et le Zippo, dans l'US ARMY pendant la seconde guerre mondiale. C'est avec l'armée américaine que je les ai découvertes il y a fort longtemps et tout le monde dans la famille les utilise depuis. Celle commandée chez Amazon est d'excellente qualité. Attention : En format A3. Mais elle existe aussi en A4 et en Letter (trop petit pour les blocs A4). Je recommande ce produit à tous ceux qui n'auraient pas eu la chance de connaître les vraies clipboards américaines.
