Lavacare Heat Pack Hot and Cold Pack, 12 x 8.25 x 1-Inch

Easy to heat and retains heat well. It does have some weight so it can be awkward trying to position it on the upper back. My doctor had told me to use a heat pack so I bought this product. Only used it a few times and I no longer need a heat pack. I have not tried to cool it.

I have a gel pack that I bought years ago, but with all the reviewers saying they leak, I was afraid to buy another gel pack. So I bought this one. It warms in the microwave in about 2 minutes and stays warm for several hours. My only complaint is that it is so heavy.

The weight of it makes it get deeper into the affected area.

Item works good but it is very heavy on your body. If your looking for something light weight to use, this is not the product for you. Heat and Cold therapy work well. I can't say I would or would not recommend. Depends on individual person. The weight of product is probably the biggest downfall.

Works great as a heat pack. Love the weight of it and it retains heat for quite some time. Wish it had a strap so I could secure it where I need it, but the product itself is great.

I like this product mainly for the quality. I like the composition of the main part that you heat. It is large enough to cover a larger area. My only criticism is that the sleeve that that it fits into is not very thick. Although one other one I tried from another manufacturer made the outside sleeve of neoprene and it never really got hot enough.

I already had one of these and it's great for soothing aches and pains or warming up my bed. Unfortunately my dog also took a liking to it and gets super excited when she sees or hears it coming out the microwave. If I put it down, I've lost it and my dog has claimed it as her own. Hence the need for a second one.

I use this every nite along with my Bliss grain bag, pop 'em into the micro (the ONLY thing I use a micro for) heat 'em up and go to bed n read, lovely just lovely. Been doing this for three years now. The Bliss lays along the body n the lava is at the feet. Dream land.
