I purchased this hammock prior to my summer trip to West Virginia, with plans to hammock frequently throughout the summer. I ordered it from MalloMe, and I have been incredibly pleased with the product that I received. I believe that you will have no problems when it comes to this product, no matter your personal ability or age; it is perfect for all demographics. I used a few criteria to evaluate the hammock that I received: durability, comfort, and ease of setup. In terms of durability, the product I received has aged well. I used it frequently throughout the summer in many different weather conditions, and there is no way to tell. The color has not faded or stretched, and the hammock has no signs of wear or tear. The stitching has remained intact, and the fabric is still in pristine condition despite usage. It also has a sack stitched into the side to hold items such as keys, phone, or other valuables for ease of not only storage but usage once inside the hammock.In regards to comfort, the hammock from MalloMe is an extra-large hammock suited for two people. I have used the product not only with another individual, but also solo, and in both aspects it has been relatively comfortable. One thing I have noticed throughout usage is when two individuals are using the product, it is more uncomfortable and tight than it would be if you were solo. However, this product will always be more comfortable solo; and it is easy to make it comfortable for both individuals again based on rearranging positioning within the hammock. It also held both of us up with no problem; it did not feel weak or as if we would fall through the product.The first place in which I discovered an issue with this product was during the evaluation of ease of setup. It did not come with everything required to set it up; it was missing hammock straps, which in reality is a poor choice in regards to distribution. When my hammock arrived, I was unable to use it until I had also ordered a set of hammock straps, which were not all that easy to find in my small college town. Aside from this, once I had obtained straps the hammock was incredibly easy to setup, and can be used in many locations, even those without many trees, due to its large size.There are many positive characteristics to this product. Not only is it incredibly durable in a variety of weather and environments, but it is large and comfortable. When laying inside by myself, I was able to fully cover myself as if the excess were a blanket. Although it came without straps, once I sorted this dilemma out its setup was incredibly fast and easy. Other than this criteria, there are also other positives. Considering the size of the product, it is very lightweight and compact; making it perfect to take with you to any location at any time. More so, for the product you receive, the current price of $26.99 is a bargain, as you will not have to purchase another.

it’s super sturdy, comfortable, and easy to use! it’s easy to store/roll back up and very easy to carry/travel with. i loved the color and it is very light! a perfect buy and overall a 10/10.

The hammock has been awesome and is very comfortable! The materials are very nice and soft but don't feel weak at all. I use this with my girlfriend every day and it's plenty big for both of us, we love it!Pros: good quality, nice materials, product is as expected, very compact.Cons: the straps are packed in the bottom of the hammock bag so it's annoying during setup and tear down because you have to open the hammock up and leave it in the dirt while you set the straps on the trees. I think it makes more sense to have the straps and hammock in sepperate bags and it doesn't take up much more room. Also the straps aren't quite as long as I want them to be. I have longer straps from the same company that I like using more because they are longer and fit around larger trees better.

I'd been in the market for an affordable, relatively light weight double wide hammock for camping/bushcrafting/bug-out (double width to achieve a proper diagonal lay in the hammock [ / ] ). I've spent about 2 1/2 hours in it so far, and thus far pleased. I'll update if necessary. With this hammock, having made my own temporary ridgeline, and found the correct "sag", in a diagonal lay position, it's very comfortable. The sewn on color accent at the edge is extraneous and won't bear much weight, though it cradles my head fine. The tree straps and carabiner appear to be strong and good quality. It could stand an aftermarket bug net, but those are easily attached. I do suggest that serious users make or invest in a Ridgeline which has several advantages... it helps with the deployment of the hammock, ensures the correct "sag", provides a "hand hold" when sitting up/getting out, will hold up a bug netting. Good value for the price.

This is a great hammock! Large enough for a tall person and sturdy for larger people!!! Easy to hose off and clean and easy to set up anywhere!!!

I have recently gotten into hammock camping so I was looking for a hammock that would be sturdy enough to sleep in with all my gear and my two puppies. As a 5’ 11’, nearly 300 lb. person, I was very skeptical of any hammock I came across and then I found this one. The description says that the hammock holds up to 1000 lbs. so it was obviously my #1 choice. Set up was easy. I did purchase the company’s heavier duty straps which claim to hold 1000 lbs. each and some heavy duty carabiners that hold up to 5500 lbs. so if anything breaks it should be the fabric of the hammock. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it held me (300 lbs) my two dogs (40 lbs) and my gear ( approx. 20 lbs). When I lay in it I don’t hear any creaking so that’s a good sign. It’s pretty long lengthwise and I didn’t feel scrunched as a tall person. I wouldn’t say this a double hammock for two normal sized people, you may be a little squished. I did purchase the WiseOwl under quilt and WiseOwl mosquito net plus a rain guard tarp to cover. I’m very happy with my purchase and will update later on after a few uses to see if it truly holds up. Can’t beat the quality for this price!

Use this for our yard to lay around in. No need on spending lots of money on a hammock if that's your need. We left these out all year. Should get 2-4 seasons out of each before they need to be replaced.

For the price, this is a really good hammock. It was so easy to set up and the material is quality. Worth it!
