these gloves were a gift to my grown grandson for his birthday because he requested this particular type of welding gloves to replace his worn out pair. He's a welder on his job so he told me how great these gloves really are in his job. They are long enough to prevent him from getting burned by the welding sparks & flexible enough to make them easy to use while doing his job safely. His favorite color is red so I got the red & black gloves.

Quality is very impressive.Using for feeding our wood stove. The dexterity is good while wearing them.

Got them for my wife so she wouldn't burn her fingers when putting wood into the fireplace. Must be working well ..no screams lately.

A little stiff in the fingers but overall great to work with. I havent had them shrink yet which other gloves for the same price have almost immediately while mig welding. Overall great glove.

I own these gloves for a year now and have used them regularly for fire pits and smoking. They have held up very well although the interior lining seems to be getting a hole. I don't think it will effect the performance of the gloves since the exterior portion is holding up very well. Good product for the price.

Since these are welding gloves, I assumed they would be fine to move a cast iron pan off my grill. at 500 degrees, I cant pick up the pan without significant discomfort or the need to 'double up' the gloves. They are made of great quality material but I'm not sure they would provide protection for welding as metal gets hotter than 500 degrees often. I get my grill to 700 degrees some times and these will not work

I use them to move hot grill grates and to coals and wood to my smoker. I'm not holding anything long just a couple minutes here and there. They are good for what I bought them for.

Great protection from the heat of my coal/wood stove. I can remove the ash pan while the fire is hot without any problems. I have large hands and they still fit well.
