Not a budget oil, but worth it!!!
This Royal Purple oil is straight fire! Has a premium feel, great protection, and it works like a champ under load. I used it in my Mustang and it smooths out the engine, quiets the noise, and holds up strong even in heat. No sludge or breakdown. If you want a smarter oil that works as hard as your ride, this is it. No oil leaks, and is fully synthetic. No burning smell. Itโs not cheap but worth the money for sure!

Great Stuff!
So i have used royal purple twice before on my 2006 Audi A3 2.0T with a dsg trans and I love it. As it is known Audi's burn some oil, not a biggie, check it every two weeks and just add a lil extra. Not with Royal Purple.I usually used to use Mobil 1 full synthetic, but both times when I used Royal Purple, I noticed some engine improvement and performance increase, not a lot, but a little bit. Let alone cold starts were smoother too, the engine has 94,000miles on it while my new trans has about 1,200 since I blew one of the clutches in the previous DSG trans lol. But using Royal Purple there is noticeable improvement from cold or warm starting, reaching rev limits, and acceleration. Plus when i do the oil change, about every 4,000 miles, i never go past 4,500 miles for an oil change which some people say u can go up to 7,000 or even 8,000 miles or somethin like that, i prefer to be safe than sorry let alone i do beat on the car often. Other than that when i got the box, each quart of oil wasnt in its own bag like another photo showed and every quart was overfilled slightly leaking out but no big problem at all, ur gonna get ur hands oily but i mean ur gonna get dirty from that oil change anyways. Other than that, Royal Purple is one of the best if not the best oils out there, if u ask any auto parts stores even they will say thats sum real good stuff. Only wish Royal Purple made filters for my car๐.

Best Race/Performnce oil for the Money
I have a 2007 Roush (Supercharged )with 261,860 miles on it !! been using Royal Purple since after my the 500 mile break in period - I have been using royal purple in all my cars for the last 20 years and the results have always been outstanding -I always recommend this oil if anyone asks I use the performance for my street cars and the XPR for my race cars its double the money but you get what you pay for if you look for others in the catagorie there price is very competitive and I already know it works - I have had to just recently changed the timing chain and tensioner /Guides /Phasers due to the miles but cant complain should have been done a long time ago -LOL !but other than that everything looks goods and is still going strong even added new(Ford Hot Rod Cams ) and followers and pushing even more horsepower now and that was 11,000 mile ago-changed them at 250,121 miles-all I can say the wear is always minimal and very impressive with this oil thats why I have stayed with it for so long, I use to have more wear than this at 50,000 miles using conventional oil than with this at 250,000 Miles it is 4.6 L -3V Supercharged V-8.... 488RWHP ...Supercharger has already been rebuilt once ..oh and I changed my oil every 6000 miles sometimes a little longer just depends on how busy I am you can go 10,000 they say but I would think changing it 5000-6000 keeps you getting the best protection and its done well for me. Hope this Helps!! :)

Great Oil, Great Service, and ok packaging
I canโt give Royal Purple enough praise. My 2010 F150 has had a tick since about 2500 miles. Ford has said there isnโt anything wrong, and google searches all say the same thing: that whatever is wrong wont cause the engine to fail during the expected service life (whatever that means). In step Royal Purple. Change the oil and the tick goes away for the first time since I purchased it. Now it comes back when the oil gets close to needing to be changed. I use it at every oil change now and havenโt had any issues. This isnโt the first time purchasing Royal Purple through amazon, but it is the first time it has leaked. It looks like a manufacture issue, not amazon because the bottles were taped inside the box from the manufacturer. I suspect amazon didnโt do anything, but one call and I was refunded 12% for the few ounces I had lost and had to replace. They offered a 100% refund if I returned it, which seemed like a waste for just a few ounces, and opted for the 12% to save amazon money and me the time. I couldnโt be happier with Amazon and love how they stand behind the items they sell! I couldnโt get that level of service from any of the brick and mortar stores around here on the products they sell.

A RX8 owner's perspective
If you are familiar with automobiles and engines you will know that the rotary engine can be a weird animal. The oil system is extremely important due to the fact that it is getting injected into the "cylinders" or rotors when the engine is running regularly. I was very hesitant about putting an all synthetic oil into my engine because of mixed ideas about oil with the Renesis engine. Not to mention the owner's manual says its a bad idea but every specialized oil for rotaries from Japan is synthetic. I have over 144K on my engine and want to extend the life of the engine before I have to rebuild the apex and side housing seals. I had some worries about synthetic oils because of deposits which can kill a rotary engine. I wanted to make sure whatever I was putting in would burn off clean and keep my apex seals, the life of the engine, in tact. I have used one full 12 quart box of this oil and what I have to say about the product when it comes to rotaries is that it seems to do very well. I haven't had to use as much oil as when I was using Pennzoil standard oil. Usually when using my old brand I had to be psycho about monitoring the oil level. This stuff seems to go a bit further and the burn off doesn't have much smell at all. When you hit 9RPMS with the Renesis engine you can typically smell an oil burn off which is still present with this but not as severe. The engine sounds like its running quieter but that could just be my imagination. I have to give props to the Royal Purple team that included information on their website about Rotary engines and their relation to Royal Purple they are what sold me on it. I will continue using this product even if it is more expensive. I love my car and keeping its heart(engine) alive is a very big deal to me. If you're wondering, the product really is purple.

High quality motor oil
Royal Purple is an excellent full synthetic motor oil. The HPS oil has zinc in it to put a better protective coating on the metal surfaces. Itโs a heavy duty oil that can be pushed hard.

It actually does run smoother!
I bought this oil for my car because I had always heard that it was a good oil... MAN what a difference it made in my engines smoothness! Any time that I've changed my oil before, I could never really feel much difference right after in how the car ran. Whoa... This stuff really does make my car feel smoother! From the time I first turned the key and drove it across town after the change, I could tell a definite difference in the way my car performed. It's like it made my car run quieter and more willing to rev up or something. It's hard to convince myself that a simple oil change has added a significant amount of power... But without a doubt my car is more responsive and is quieter at idle than with the usual Mobil 1 or Mag 1 oil. Even after almost 1k miles of driving, I can still tell the difference. When a friend that uses my car often borrowed my car today, I asked when he returned if he could tell any difference in the way my car ran. He said it was the first thing he noticed when getting onto the interstate how much smoother the engine was getting up to speed than usual. Listen... I'm not one to brag on a product. But when it's made such a noticeable difference such as this oil has, credit needs to be given. I'm only using Royal Purple in my car from now on! (My car is a Lincoln Mkz v6)

It has increased my acceleration and I'm getting better gas mileage
If you want your car or truck to last, then you need to use Royal Purple! I use this in my 2014 Ford F-150 STX (V8, 5.7L). It has increased my acceleration and I'm getting better gas mileage. I also use this is my 2007 Toyota Yaris. Combined with a K&N air filter and Royal Purlple I went from 34 highway MPG to 37 MPG highway. Lastly my parents use this in their 2001 Chevy Trail Blazer. Although it's in rough shape, they have seen a smoother sounding engine, and a small improvement in MPG. I also recommend using the Royal Purple oil filter, if you do the research it's simply the best. My oil change intervals for my F-150 were 6,000 miles for the first, 7,500 for the second and now I change at 9,000 miles. The reason I did this is the HSP will clean out the old dirty oil from lesser quality oils. Now when I change at 9,000 miles, the oil is still purple and clean!

Excellent product, but...
My 300km CRV started to get a single drop every time I take it out of my garage. Always just one drop, even if the car hasnโt been used for days. This started the day after I changed the oil. Maybe a fluke thing that happened to just me, but I thought I should mention it. I would recommend using their HMX oil for high-mileage vehicles... I would like to switch to it myself, but NOBODY seems to carry it in 5W20. Best of luck.

Good stuff!
The HPS has been in for only a few days, but the engine seems to be running smoother and with less valve noise. Good stuff !!!!
