Even prior to the purchase, I contacted the seller with questions and measurements of my roller shades. The seller was so responsive all the time, with correction info/solution and customization offers. I have two blackout RollEase roller shades (with Skyline brackets) in the bedroom that I wanted to retrofit. The seller included mounting adapters that work perfectly with my brackets. Cannot be happier with the retrofitting project with the amazing product. Very cost effective compared to other options. My friends are also impressed and maybe intrigued to do the same with the product. Update 5/28/2021: I installed a second motor in the other roller shade of the bedroom windows. The seller customized my kit with a 5-channel remote which can control movement of both shades at the same time. My DIY project is complete now. Cannot be happier with the product and the great customer service from the seller!

I received the roller motor today and had it installed within 1 hour . That said it did take a little handyman work .. First thing the motor wheel that turns the blind roller had to be changed ..There were 2 in the box so correct one was provided . It uses a "C" clip and I did not have the tool but did it with a needle nose pliers ..Secondly , my professionally installed blinds had brackets that were too wide to fit in the end of the motor . This is a slotted wheel and I had to grind the bracket to 3/8" to fit the slot in the roller motor . Not a big job ,but required tools . After these changes the motor works good although slower than the professional ones . The remote paired up easily and was simple to program ( I don't usually have a problem with electronics so familiar ) ... Update 1 week later : Still working good and happy ..However , I'm a little annoyed with the company . I ordered 2 of these at the same time and in correspondence with them I was not advised that I could not use the single channel remotes supplied but would need an extra cost remote .. I did not have to order the kit (with charger and remote ) but instead only needed the motor ..Also , even though the item was "Prime" I was charged a stiff handling and shipping cost . Product is good but perhaps my fault for not investigating more ...They could have been more helpful .

I purchased one of these motors to test out as possible solution for several roller shades in our home. I have Rollease brand shades with light filtering fabric. I measured my existing interior shade tube at 35mm with a smooth interior. My shade was 70" wide and 84" tall (my largest shade). The motor is plenty strong to raise and lower the shade and is quiet - quieter than I expected - speed is good, not too fast and not too slow. The only modification I needed to make for my mount was to grind/cut down the mount bracket flat tab that inserts into the motor. If you don't have a way to do that, you could probably find and purchase a replacement bracket since the end is standard slotted - you just need to find the right size. It does have a couple different slots for different sizes, mine was too big. Installation was easy, take down shade which is a flip tab and lift out for mine and then pry out the old chain end clutch and slide insert the motor and rehang shade. Exact shade height doesn't matter as you are rehanging as you will set the top and bottom when setting the remote limits. The motor came with two additional grommets for slightly smaller/large tubes. I swapped to one of the other grommets that was a hair smaller that fit better for my shade. I removed a little retainer clip, swapped ends and reinstalled the clip - it might be a little tricky as the clip is small, a small regular screwdriver worked for me. I paired the remote prior to rehanging since it was easier to press the pair button when on the ground rather than when hanging up. I also charged the motor prior to starting installation so I was starting with a fresh full charge. Setting the top, bottom, and mid limit was very easy - you just need a paperclip to press the small set button on the remote. My complete install with remote programming and bracket modification was less than 30 mins and my next ones will be even quicker now that I have done it once. Depending on your specific shade, it could be plug and play for you or you might need some basic DIY skills. If it weren't for the bracket on mine, I probably could have done the install with no tools or maybe just a screwdriver. My original shipment didn't come with the remote as pictured but the seller was super responsive and shipped one out right away. They have also followed up several times to check in and make sure everything was ok - top notch customer service! Overall a great product and great seller. Worth the money spent and I will be purchasing several more based on this experience. Once I have everything setup, I won't have to pull shade chains on all my blinds twice a day, I can't wait!

I have had these for over a year now. Though I had to contact support several time they were fantastic and responsive. They resolved my initial issues with a battery that would not charge and answer all my questions. I would have given 5 stars but the rollers are louder than we like.

I bought 6 of there when they first came out 6 years ago- expected 2 years tops and they still work - just replaced them for age only - charge once a month- using on a 55x84 roller shade - heavy duty app - lower and raise daily 6 units not one problem - thats more than 10000 cycles - this stuff is legit

The motors work well. But to get to the point of having them work is another story. Yes, seller writes that mounting brackets are not included. Why not make the bracket hole a bid wider so it fits the most common brackets? Or at least indicate where to purchase them? I could not find any bracket that would fit the size of the hole of the motor. I ended up cutting the one I had manually so it would fit. From what I read in comments, that's a very common issue, so seller could try to help clients a bit more. As for Google Assistant integration, it's very misleading. They only mention that you can link with Broadlink app. They dont' say in the details that you need to buy a separate Broaklink Hub costing 45.00. Also, instructions are horribly written, had to guess my way to set them up. Just horrible English. You are selling a usd100 product. Why not pay some English speaker to write decent manuals and instructions, so your clients are happier and get better reviews?

I wanted to like these. it looks solidly built and the remote looks nice. They sent extra fittings. I had to trim these down to get into the tube, but made that part work. I also found out the bracket on my blinds needs a male end, so I 3D printed a shaft to fit the motor to the bracket, but ultimately I found the motor makes the whole bracket on the blinds stick out the right edge of the blinds by an extra inch. I would need to either get metal working tools to modify the bracket, or get a new metal bracket custom made in order to get this to work.

I have blinds from the Shade Store that I wanted to motorize. After talking with a shade store representative, they said it was not possible to buy a motor to install into their blinds. I took that as a challenge as a fellow DIY guy to motorize my shades and do the "impossible". So I bought these motors to install. I would give these motors more stars than three if I didn't have to modify so many things. First, since I had blinds from the shade store, I had to buy a special end mount piece for my shades that I attached to the ends of my blinds. Second, I bought the correct diameter size tube for my blinds but still had to shave off the rubber stopper for it to fit properly. After all that, I finally had motorized shades and was happy. However, the motor blinds do not all travel up and down at the same speed. To some it may not matter but I did bother me. I do recommend these motors but only if you're handy and know how to modify things to be able to make it work properly.

Very happy with this product. Straight forward and easy to instal (presuming you have the right dimensions). Strange how mounting brackets are not included in the kit but rollerhouse were very quick to supply them. Will be buying more of these.

Je passe à la prochaine étape afin de connecter le moteur au contrôleur Zwave de domotique de ma maison.
