Metal rulers are great
It's a great set. I bought them for my kids for school and they have standard and Mae. Easy to read and don't give slivers. They are slim so closer to the paper or object and don't bend. Great set for the price and got here fast.

These are Awesome! Way Better than the Wooden and Plastic Ones! Here's Why...
This ruler set is *awesome*, and exactly what I needed! I can't count the number of times I've been sitting at my computer, either about to order something and needing to understand exactly what are its dimensions, or writing a review and wanting to describe exactly its dimensions - leading to my having to get up, trudge downstairs to where my tape measure is, trudge back upstairs, etc.. (Why not leave the tape measure at my desk? Because usually I need it down where I store it.)This is why I decided to order a ruler for my desk. When I started looking at rulers, there were the usual wooden ones (downside: splinters, the metal edging (if it has one) is usually sharp, and eventually falls off), and the usual plastic ones (downside: they break easily, and the raised measurement tick marks and numbers are usually not very precise, the paint wears off the raised numbers and tick marks making it difficult to read, etc., in my experience). Then up popped this lovely set! Not only none of the downsides of the cheap wooden ones and plastic ones, but two for the price of one!Plus, the markings are *very* clear and easy to read, with metric on one side and imperial on the other - *and* - bonus!...a conversion table on the back! Now I have a ruler at my desk, and another to use in other parts of the house in which I may need to measure something (the kitchen... the laundry room... the bedroom...).This is a seriously great set, and will probably be the last rules you ever need to buy (at least for yourself, they'd make a great gift for a student)!

These rulers rule and really measure up to the competition.
A dream to use. I was looking for a ruler with 64th of an inch measurements, and this has it. Imperialists, rejoice, this has inches with divisions of 16, 32, and 64. Obviously the 64th of an inch divisions are super tiny, but if you're looking for accuracy, look no further. And for the metric fans, this doesn't dissapoint either with half millimeter ticks marked as well. The opposite side has a Inch to Millimeter conversion chart if you're into that sort of thing. This set comes with a full ruler and a smaller, baby ruler and that was really cool. Both are pretty sturdy and lay almost flat, at about 1mm thickness. The numbers and ticks are laser etched into the ruler and even after a year, they haven't faded at all. The rulers come with a little hole so you can hang these, or you can be just like me and stick them in a cup full of pens and pencils.Lastly, in the case of a zombie apocalypse, this makes for a great melee weapon.

Great Readable Rulers
Great little rulers. Not hard to read and a conversion table on the back.

Durable
This is one of the nicer ruler I have used. It is not like the wooden ones nor the clear plastic rulers. This one is better than both for two big reasons. One of the reason why this ruler is better is because it is stainless steel, which means you it is very durable and will last for a long time. You can drop it, try to bend it, throw it, and it will still be in good shape, whereas wooden and plastic build rulers will most likely not outlast a stainless steel material. The second big reason is that since this is a stainless steel build, the measurements numbers, the ticks, the unit conversion on the back are all inscribed into the stainless steel ruler, which means those text will never fade away or ever be unclear to read what you are trying to read. Unlike wooden or plastic rulers where the texts may fade, or be unclear to read, this stainless steel ruler's text will not easily fade or become unreadable.I had this ruler for about over a year now, and it is still in very good shape. The fact that it comes with a long piece and a shorter piece and costs only about $6 is mind-boggling because this is an excellent well made material that comes with two convenient types. The short ruler is short enough for me to keep in my small front pocket of my backpack, and I am still in school learning Physics so it is very convenient to draw small diagrams and situations or create graphs with the small ruler. The only complaint I have is that the edges are pretty sharp, and you could actually cut yourself if you're not careful because I've used it to cut papers and it works lol. But overall, this is a top quality ruler for this low price. This will not disappoint.

Favorite for crafting
This small metal ruler is perfect for taking measurements or reviewing measurements when I'm doing all types of paper crafting and card-making. It's compact. It is easy to read and it's sturdy.

Great Straightedge ruler
I've tried wooden rulers, wooden rulers with metal edge insert, plastic rulers and none of them last as far as drawing a straight line is concerned. I purchased a set of these eBoot Stainless Steel Rulers (12" and 6") and was so favorably impressed, I purchased a second set for my other office! The conversion tables on the reverse are a nice feature. I do quite a bit of work cutting straight edges with box cutters and Xacto type knives, and these work exceptionally well. The only issue is that you have to be exceptionally careful in handling this ruler as the straight edges' corners are severe (not rounded), meaning that you can cut your finger/hand if you accientially run the ruler'e edge across your skin! If you require a metal ruler with a non-rounded edge, this is the caution you must exhibit. If you need square edges, you probably are already alert to this issue, but if you're not, you are forewarned!
