EMSA 512670 SIENA NOBILE round planter, ø 38 x 29 cm, pearl white

This planter is a really nice size for my outside patio, it holds at least two bedding plant and a trailer. I got it as it seemed to look ceramic but has the advantages of plastic as far as weight and moveability are concerned. I hate having to lug ceramic planters around but they do look much better than the cheap fake terracotta I was using. They are very shiny and glazed looking, my husband thought they were ceramic when he saw them. They are very light and easy to drill (they places to drill are marked on the bottom) I would say they take around 20l of compost, maybe a little less with the plants. The plastic is not brittle and drilled with no problems. They will crack if you are careless though. The colour is very deep and lovely, although beware that in certain lights it can look similar to the pink pot in this range if you want a mix of colours. This goes lovely with the plants I chose and brightens up the patio nicely. I mixed it up and bought a few colours in the range and they look great together. Will definitely buy again.

My Siena Nobile Round Planters “32cm” arrived today and yet again the box was banged up. “Trust in Hermes UK to know how to bang up your Boxes” as these items are plastic they can easily crack but as luck would have it they weren’t. Anyway, got them out and they are just lovely, I ordered two of the red ones as I want to plant some sort of small bush type trees in them and I’m not sure what yet but maybe two white Rose Bushes would look good as they are contrasting colours “Red Planter & White Rose Bushes” and the come every year and are very little maintenance to them. The Planters although plastic are made from good quality and are thicker than I thought they would be allowing me to drill five holes in the bottom with a size 10 drill bit without fear of the bottom splitting or cracking “unlike them planters you buy in the pound shop which almost all crack when I try this”. They have an advantage to being plastic, in the winter, you can leave them outside without fear of the frost busting them. They are also lighter than clay pots to carry and these look good. I wondering will they fade through time but time will tell. I have included a few images for you if you’re thinking of purchasing them. As there is no soil in them when I took the images, no doubt they will look slightly darker with soil in them. I’m glad I bought them and they will certainly draw your friends eyes when they are out in your garden having a wee dram.

Beautiful colour really stands out in the garden. Quite thin hard plastic, but for money I can't complain. Needed it to put in Christmas tree outside.

Emsa 508686 Plant Pot Ruby Red 32 cm is one planter which is made from top quality products. The actual plastic is a good firm plastic which has stood up to our rain, wind, and so much more and still keeps its shine - I have to be exact and say the shine or quality has not deteriorated in anyway. I love these pots as not only do they hold the plants which I primarily bought them for, with the added bonus of the beautiful ruby colour really adds an extra dimension to my garden. I actually have returned and bought three more I love them so much. The only flaw I have with them is due to the fact if you want to plant your flowers or bushes straight into the Emsa Ruby red pot you must be able to drill your own drainage holes as the manufacturer mark the holes, I had to get someone to drill them for me ... it only took a few minutes therefore I am happy to recommend the Emsa 508686 to anyone who wants to add style to their garden as well as a great quality planter/pot.

Really pleased with these planters (bought 2). Sturdy once filled and planted and a lovely ruby red. They get many compliments from visitors and are quite striking. These are the first plastic planters I've bought. Hopefully they will last the winter without any deterioration. I think they will, but we'll see!

Economically priced, brightly coloured planting pot. Ordered two, one is perfect, will look lovely with any plants & flowers in, unfortunately one has a visible manufacturing fault around nearly half of the rim & it shouldn't have made it passed quality inspection. The moulding deformation doesn't affect its function, it's not diabolical to the point I am compelled to return it, but it is annoying because it does affect its visual appeal. If I bought it from a shop I'd take it back to swap for another, I just can't be bothered to go through the product return shenanigans.

This is a lovely pot and great value. When empty, it's quite bright but with soil in iit's a dark read and doesn't look at all plasticky. I have it indoors with a houseplant, and from a distance it could easily be mistaken for a ceramic pot. This was for a large plant but I'll buy others in different sizes.

This pot arrived in perfect condition and looks lovely together with the green one that I ordered. It is very light and easy to move around too. The pot looks like a high quality item and is excellent value for money. I am now planning to buy another one for my other plants that I bought on Amazon.You can see both pots in the photo. Highly recommended.

Es de plástico pero con muy buen acabado, parece cerámica o, en todo caso, de buena calidad. Es grande, para una planta grande.

Bellissimo vaso che definire di plastica è riduttivo. Ha tutti i pregi di questo materiale, in primis leggerezza e grande lucentezza, ma è fatto davvero molto bene tanto da sembrare di ceramica. Ne ho acquistati diversi nel tempo, di misure e colori diversi. Consigliatissimo.

Deluso. Molto deluso perché vedendo le recensioni sembra un buon prodotto, quando invece è plastichetta larga esagerando 3 millimetri, troppo delicata. Anche la finitura non mi ha entusiasmato, me lo aspettavo decisamente più lucido... Per come la vedo io dovrebbe costare sui 6 euro massimo, un po' come alcuni vasi dell'ikea che ho comprato che addirittura son in terracotta e sembrano decisamente più robusti!

Very cheap red plastic. Would be better as a popcorn bowl.
