The internationally bestselling Peachtree Bluff series concludes with this โ deliciously authentic Southern tale of family and the often messy, complex relationships between sisters, mothers, and daughtersโ (Susan Boyer, USA TODAY bestselling author). With the man of her dreams back in her life and all three of her daughters happy, Ansley Murphy should be content. But she canโt help but feel like itโs all a little too good to be true. Her youngest daughter, actress Emerson, is recently engaged and has just landed the role of a lifetime. She seemingly has the world by the tail and yet something she canโt quite put her finger on is worrying herโand it has nothing to do with her recent health scare. When two new women arrive in Peachtree Bluffโone who has the potential to wreck Ansleyโs happiness and one who could tear Emersonโs world apartโeverything is put in perspective. And after secrets that were never meant to be told come to light, the powerful bond between the Murphy sisters and their mother comes crumbling down, testing their devotion to each other and forcing them to evaluate the meaning of family in this unputdownable exploration of sisterhood and family drama. โKristy Woodson Harvey has done it againโฆ. The Southern Side of Paradise is full of humor, charm, and familyโ (Lauren K. Denton, USA TODAY bestselling author) and is the ultimate satisfying beach read. Review: FABULOUS 4 - FABULOUS FOUR! Love love loved! I read all 4 books in this series and ABSOLUTLY loved the series. I enjoyed reading about a woman who is also a mother in her fiftyโs, having a chance at love again. Since, Iโm in my fiftyโs and single I could relate more to this romantic story and it was refreshing the woman was older. My FAVORITE character is Caroline! Carolineโs personality adds a lot of of perky fun to each book. After you read the 4th and last book, you will go into withdrawal, as you will miss all 4 of the main characters immensely! Ha! Review: A Very Satisfying Read - This is the third book in the Peachtree Bluff series and it was great to learn what happens next to Ansley and her three daughters. Each book is written from the point of view of Ansley and one of her daughters. This one is about her youngest daughter, Emerson. So much of whatโs written from Ansleyโs (the mom) point of view made me laugh because she describes what itโs like to be the mother of grown children so well. And the parts from Emersonโs point of view are so typical of how young adults view the world. Through it all, in spite of what secrets are revealed, the sisters and their mother have an unbreakable bond. And this family has a LOT of secrets. I also like that it portrays romantic relationships with all the good, bad, and ugly that goes with them in real life. And sometimes love (and families) donโt look exactly like you expect them to. The whole series is good. It would be a great summer beach read since itโs set in a beach town. I finished this book on a cold January day curled up on the sofa, so enjoy the series whenever and wherever you read it!

Great ending to the trilogy!
This wrapped up the story so well. The characters are so alive and vivid in my mind. Iโll never forget them! I love KWH and the way she weaves the lives of the characters ~ the family and the town. I loved this book and am sad itโs over!

Warm and beautiful like the perfect summer beach vacation!
The Peachtree Bluff trilogy is at the top of my favorites list for sure! And the conclusion of the series in The Southern Side of Paradise did not disappoint! Each of the books focuses its attention on one of three sisters, along with their mother, Ansley. Chapter by chapter you learn a little more about these strong women, their histories, and their families. The Southern Side of Paradise is written from the points of view of Ansley and her youngest daughter, Emerson. Kristy Woodson Harvey brings a relatability to her characters that draws you in and makes you feel like they are your own family/friends. Throughout the series, I found myself rooting for certain characters, and Southern Side was no exception. Like in real life, there are ups and downs, happy moments and sad, and enough little secrets and surprises to keep you flipping the pages as fast as you can. I wonโt give anything away, but I will say that the ending fit the series perfectly. I am sad to see these characters go, but The Southern Side of Paradise left me with warm memories like those of a great beach vacation.

Small Town, Gilmore Girls Vibes!
The Murphy family has suffered loss and unbelievable circumstances but have managed to pull through it. Ansley, the mom, is reunited with the love of her life after her husband has passed in 9/11. Her daughter Caroline is recovering from her husband cheating with a reality star and trying to recover her marriage. Emerson, her sister, played the reality start in a movie that her sisters husband cheated with and is back in town temporarily to spend time with her boyfriend Mark. And Sloan is adjusting to her husband being back home after he was captured on deployment and tortured. All of the sisters still dealing with the death of their father and struggling with their own issues. This book is based on a small beach town in Georgia which gave me major Gilmore girl vibes! The Murphy sisters have a bond like no other with each other and their mom. This is the third book In the series, but can be read as a stand alone because it fills in a lot of details. I found myself laughing out loud at certain moments throughout the book! This is a perfect beach/pool read! It was light and funny but also had the perfect amount of depth to make it serious in some aspects. I enjoyed all the characters but my favorite would definitely be Coffee Kyle! (Reminds me of luke, but way younger and more attractive lol

I want more! How about Book #4?
What a great read! I found daughter Emerson and mother Ansley to be the dynamic pair and much more powerful than daughter Sloane and mother Ansley in book 2 (but who could forget Caroline in book 1?). This book was a page turner. I can't get enough of the three daughters and Mother, Jack (who becomes family at last),and Kyle. I enjoyed every character from book 1 through book 3. Now I need more! Please consider writing book 4 in this series! I wish I could visit (fictional) Peachtree Bluff and even more so, meet the Murphy family. You are a wonderful author, Kristy! I look forward to reading your new book! It just arrived in the mail!

Great Story
This book is a Brenda Novak Reading Challenge. I usually prefer to start a series at the beginning. This is the third book in the Peachtree Bluff Series. Now that Iโve read it I will have to read the first 2 of the series and any more that might come along. In this book, Ansley is the mom of 3 adult daughters. The โvoiceโ of the book alternates between Ansley and her youngest daughter Emerson. Their wonderful stories keep the reader entranced. The characters come to life.
