Lovely, easy to work with, exactly as stated, no blemishes.
I used this to bind my latest book, you can see in the pic that it is a pale Champagne, not as warm as the product pics, but beautiful. It has a nice sheen, catches the light without being metallic, pearlescent fits it exactly. It is very soft and supple, easy to work with and most importantly, not one blemish on the hide, I'll be able to use every bit of it in various projects. I've now bought 4 skins from this seller and each one is wonderful. The square footage is correct. I just ordered another today.

Not happy with the description at this point or the photo ...
I thought this skin was going to be smooth as noted in the description. It actually has small creases in the skin and not smooth as I would think the word "smooth" would represent. My wife is an artist and draws, inks, and paints on smooth hide. I'm not sure she can do this at this point as she is testing it out today. It also came folded instead of rolled and has fold marks in the hide which will not show flat when she inks a portrait. Not happy with the description at this point or the photo that was shown. Customers rely on an accurate photo and description to make their decision on buying the product. If this product doesn't work for her then we end up spending more money trying to find the right "SMOOTH" skin for her to use.

Just getting started
The items ask for I received. Being a newbie at leatherworking it's going to take me sometime to find out if this is exactly what I need. The book should help for there are several projects that I intend on working on. As for the quality of the leather there are no blemishes or stains and it looks to be in good shape now all I have to do is a good job with good material.
