It does the job, metal hands a bit flimsy.

To repair a Tide Clock.

The tide hand was to big a bore hole for mech. Replaced many before for so know what to do

I ordered a 6168 Ticking Tide Time Clock Movement Mechanism. Had some difficulty fitting replacement as spindle length shorter, but manage to do it. Only afterwards realised I had been sent a 6188 mechanism (presumably reason for shorter spindle). But now all working well and no point in returning for change. Just a tip - check your codes on arrival before fitting.

This product does exactly what it says. It is easy to assemble with a choice of hands to suit different clock-face styles.

Very accurate. The blue hand is a bit too similar in colour to the black hour/minute hands so would have been better if it was a different colour. But happy overall.

Center seconds spindle pulled out when I took the seconds hand off , managed to put it back though .

the clock keeps good time but its tide tracking is very inaccurate -for the otherwise predictable usa east coast. tide is losing about 2 hours in 5 days.
