Updated review Nov 2018: The company (Home Planet Gear) went above and beyond to back their product... They sent us a whole new set since we had to throw away 1 tape measure that broke. Now we have extras and have had no other issues with them not working. The replacement set they sent even had a hand written note included! Thank you, Taylor, and Home Planet Gear for standing behind your product and making me a happy customer! Old review: Good price for 3 tape measures! I like how it shows the fractions for the small increments - nice for those learning about measuring and fractions. It works well, and the tape goes out and in smoothly. The only issue I have with these is the rubber button on the side that you hold down to keep the tape temporarily out. It is not connected to the plastic side in any way, and it sometimes falls out (especially with my 3 year old playing with the tape measure). One time while measuring something, he pushed the button and it fell INSIDE the tape measure. The tape wouldn't retract and we couldn't retrieve the button, so we had to throw the whole thing away.

Good inexpensive tape measures.

I bought the 6 pack as a birthday gift and gave them to my woodworking significant other. Apparently tape measurers can be slightly off from one another which will throw a whole project off if you switch between them (who knew?). Well, as soon as he opened the package he began measuring the tape measurers (which I found humorous) and made sure they were all equal. 2 of the tape measurers were off by a 32nd. In my world that made zero difference, but in his precise measurements world it was significant. Since only 2 of the tape measurers were off I decided to contact the seller rather than sending the whole pack back to Amazon. I was hoping they would let me exchange the 2 “defective” tape measurers for 2 new ones. I wasn’t sure if it’d work out or not, but worth an ask. I really want to emphasize how GREAT their customer service was. Not only did they take my “2 of my tape measurers are off by a 32nd” seriously, they went out of their way to correct it. They sent 2 new blue ones to replace the “defective” ones, and they didn’t even ask for the ”defective” ones back. Not only that, but they sent a hand written note and an extra pink tape measurers just for me! (I have been running around the house measuring things with MY personal tape measurer, making my s.o. shake his head and laugh.) Overall, it was a great customer service experience. They could have written me off, but they didn’t. I really want to thank Jody in customer service. She and I had an email chain back and forth with me telling her what was going on. Not once did she make me feel like an idiot for complaining about something so little (figuratively and literally) being off on the product. She took my concerns seriously and worked with me to make it right. Will definitely buy again from the seller.

I have ordered these multiple times for the warehouse staff. They are small and light and the blue color makes them easy to find when they are abandoned in an odd location. I think this 3-pack is a great value is you do not need a 25ft or longer tape measurer.
