Overall, I'm very pleased with the product. However, I've asked the seller for a replacement card that documents the materials used which has so far gone unanswered.

I saw one of these globes in a doctor's office and liked it so much I ordered one. What a disappointment. The workmanship was poor and cheap semi-precious stones had been used. The quality was overall much less. I sent it back immediately. Kalifano refunded my money but I was out $50 in shipping costs. Why should I have to pay $50 to view a piece of junk? Who wants ugly art? I'm pissed off, if you can't tell.The globe in the doctor's office was at least eight years old. Evidently Kalifano's quality has declined over the past eight years.

This globe is stunning, a perfect size for a medium area, and a joy to look at the maps. It turned out to satisfy my daughter perfectly!
