ION Audio Tough Sounds Ear Defenders and Noise Canceling Headphones with Bluetooth, All-Weather, Battery, Hands-Free Calling and Radio

Some people have mentioned the battery beeping on them every 15 seconds or so. I too had this happen to me, but I called ION technical support and this is the advice I got. Let the battery run down to zero then fully charge it up. The beeping goes away. These headphones are awesome and I would recommend to anyone.

I have used this headset both indoors and outdoors in a loud noisy environment and can say that both the noise reduction and FM radio have worked well for me. I drive a noisy RHINO 4x4 vehicle and have found no interference picked up on the FM radio. Clear signals from a radio transmitter located about 15 miles away. The battery life has easily lasted 8 hours for me, my normal working day. The headband was a little too tight, but I was able to gently bend the headset strap to make a permanent looser fitting. The only thing that could be improved is the battery charger cable socket looks like a USB Micro-B and is small and D shaped. It only fits into the headphones when the right way up and pushes in at an odd angle, which sometimes makes it fiddly to fit. Will be much better if changed to the new universal standard USB-C, but apart from mthat cannot fault this headset. Would recommend and buy again.

A good set of Ear defenders that has issues! After the first charge its beeped all day like the battery was low. Then it was fine next day. Although it happens now and again. The battery still lasts a 12 hour shift which is good for bluetooth! They're comfortable and have good noise reduction!

Easy to use, quick to connect, and does what it says, sound quality is acceptable but nothing special, I’d prefer a little louder and more bass tones, but at such a low price Comparatively I wasn’t expecting high end sound.

Have always bought Protear Bluetooth ear defenders in the past but they’re going up in price so thought I’d try these. So far they’ve been really good and I would say more comfortable than the Protear. Another plus is there’s no aerial getting in the way of hoods or hats. I’m an agricultural fencing contractor and these keep the noise of the 500kg hammer on my fencing machine at bay.

Biggest complaint is the bluetooth ....only last 5 hrs of low volume music....I like to hear if the mower engine is struggling Then there's all those little buttons.....no good if you're wearing vibration gloves Tough sounds 1 lasted 7 years and easy to control I'd sooner have a bendy aerial and last easily all day

Good set of headphones, can not hear much when in use. I have parts of where I work when I lose signal, that is only for a second or so but what happens is the sounds gets lower. All in all a great product and highly recommend

Also der erste Eindruck ist positiv , Radio und Handy bluetooth sehr guter Empfang , Geräuschdämmung (ohne Musik ) super. Acculaufzeit bisher 12 Stunden und ist noch nicht abgebrochen . Stabil ist er auch . Vieleicht ein wenig schwerer wie normale Kopfhörer wurde aber nicht als störend empfunden . Anpressdruck aufs Ohr etwas stark jedoch nicht schlimm. Aufgeladen ist er in kurzer Zeit der Radioempfang ist sehr gut der Kopfhörer hat keine abstehende bzw herumhängende Antenne daher ist ein ab und an kratzen am Empfang Normal jedoch nicht nervend . Die Sender kommen gut rein .der Sound ist für arbeiten mit dem kopfhorer sehr gut kein klirren sondern wirklich gut abgeglichen angenehme Musikqualität keine Blechtrommel oder klirrgeräusch Musik . Angenehme Musikwiedergabequalität im Hintergrund .lenkt nicht ab. Die Bedienung ist Recht einfach und im ausgeschalteten Zustand bleibt die Uhrzeit auf dem Display . Alle Funktionen kann man sehr einfach bedienen denke auch mit Handschuhen da die Knöpfe zwar flach aber einen guten Druckpunkt haben . Kann ich weiter empfehlen .

Bra pris, lite knepigt att veta var alla knappar sitter när man har headset på sig, något låg max volym. Går inte att jämföra med riktiga kvalitets hs men de fyller sin funktion skyddar mot buller o ger möjlighet till musiklyssning/radio/telefon

Noise suppression is good. Having Bluetooth, 3.5mm input and FM/AM means you can listen to pretty much any audio source. Sound quality is fine. Not great. But if you're blowing leaves or ripping wood on a saw table you're probably not in the right place to dissect audio quality anyway. It's definitely adequate for listening to audio books, podcasts or your favorite Spotify Playlist. Even making phone calls with it actually works. However, there is one huge flaw in my opinion. The headphones have an always-on display that shows the time. There is no seperate time chip battery so when the batteries run out, the time will be out of sync once your recharge it and you would have to reset it every time which you won't do so the always-on display is essentially useless but worse: it drains the battery within a couple of days because you cannot completely turn it off. This won't be a problem if you use the headphones every day and charge them every day but my use case is that I use them perhaps once every two weeks. Consequently they are never ready to be used unless I know I will use them the following day and charge them the night before but that doesn't work for some spontaneous DIY-ing or gardening. I have other Bluetooth headphones that I can put in a drawer with 60% charge and when I want to use them half a year later I can put them on and know they'll still have battery left to be used. That will not happen with these ION headphones. You can leave them 100% charged but within a couple of days you will find them without any battery charge and unable to be used. One solution could be to permanently leave them on a charger but given the fire hazard and impact on battery lifespan that comes with it doesn't seem like a realistic option. A very strange flaw, especially since the rest of the headphones are clearly so well thought through. Not a problem for all use cases but definitely something to consider.

Je ne suis pas un ultra audiophile, donc perso la qualité sonore me vas. la qualité de l'antibruit sonore est vraiment passer mal. Seul bémol : quand la batterie faible est atteinte, un bip sonore retentit trop régulièrement... Donc tout bon sauf le bip en batterie faible.
