Q: Can this product be used on carpets?

I've never tried that. Used it on metal, plastic, greasy parts, etc. But I'll bet if you maybe worked up a foam with it using a brush and maybe some soapy water (dish soap), you'd get the stain out without hurting or discoloring the fabric. Try it on a spot that nobody sees.

Q: Can you use on clear glass?

I would not use on clear glass. No where on the bottle does it specify using on clear glass, although it says you can use on shower walls. To me, because it is citrus based, it may leave an oily film on clear glass. I would not take the chance myself. Hope this helps.
