Do you have a loved one with a bad heart? This is for you. Absolutely the best hands down Minestrone you can get that has very little sodium. At first taste many will dislike this product, due to the low sodium taste. Most people's taste buds are so used to high sodium. Americans love salt, and we eat a ton of it. We eat so much of it, that according to CNN the FDA is considering limiting salt in food products. Salt adds a lot of flavor and while preserving food, but, it can counter act your heart. You can easily fight the low salt taste by adding pepper, lemon juice, or something else. Just don't add more salt! Of course it'd taste amazing with a handful of salt added to it, but, it defeats the point! Shipping: Amazon shipped me 15 cans of this product with dents all over it. But, it arrived within 30 hours of ordering it, which is impressive. Their packaging for canned foods could be better. Health Valley: They have amazing customer service. Me: I have a very bad heart, and low sodium diets are TOUGH to get into. Walmart, WinCo, Whole Foods, Target, Albertsons, FoodMaxx, Food4Less all in my city has absolutely zero low salt canned item selections. Amazon is my only choice.

If you have to eat a low-salt diet, this is good soup. If you don't have to eat low salt, just add your own salt because this is a good soup product.

Expensive but ingredients looked healthy. Somedays I am unable to cook so thought this would be a good standby. WRONG! health valley organic minestrone soup. 12 CANS IN A 1" BOX BOTTOM THAT LOOKS LIKE A LID AND PLASTIC WRAPPED. E V E R Y CAN DENTED ON TOP RIM SEAM AND/OR BOTTOM RIM SEAM. EVERY CAN!!! LOOKED LIKE THE CANS WERE BANGED ON EDGE OF CEMENT BLOCK TO GET SUCH DEEP DENTS ON THE WORSE SECTION OF THE CAN FOR SAFTY CONCERNS - THE RIM SEAMS. THE USDA STATED "DISCARD ANY CAN WITH A DEEP DENT ON ANY SEAM." Not even boiling product is considered safe. My Gran's brother died from food poisoning after boiling food from a dented can that didn't look spoiled, but he was careful. Sadly, careful is toss the can. I AM CALLING HEALTH VALLEY TOMORROW. TOO ANGRY NOW. THIS IS NOT AMAZON. THE COMPANY SHIPPING PACKS THESE CANS. AND THEY KNEW ABOUT THE DENTS. THE PAPER LABEL was torn down from the dent exposing it and these cans were then wrapped in plastic. Same exact thing happened with Del Monte whole green beans packed the same way. Changed order to cut green beans because 4 cans were packed in a box and then placed in a box. NOT ONE DENT. OCEAN SPRAY CRANBERRY WHOLE BERRY SAUCE WAS PACKED BY AMAZON LOOSE WITH OTHER PRODUCT BUT PACKED SOLIDLY AND NOT ONE DENT. I am very happy wjth 365 Whole Foods as every can and jar is carefully wrapped and arrives safely. Also small businesses are usually outstanding. I will be carefully checking them first for product. I WILL NO LONGER BUY CANS THAT ARE 12 TO A "BOX LID" WRAPPED IN PLASTIC. CANS ARE NOT RETURNABLE SO THE COMPANIES DON'T RESPECT THE CONSUMER. BOYCOTT THESE COMPANIES THAT KNOWINGLY SHIP OUT DENTED UNSAFE CANS AND THEY WILL QUICKLY LEARN TO RESPECT CONSUMERS. About all I can do is use 12 expensive badly dented cans of Soup for target practice. Guess I'll order in Pizza when I can't manage to cook. It's a lot cheaper

The product is great. Usually Amazon packaging is wonderful. This came very beat up and more than one of the cans was dented. That was very disappointing as I am giving some of them to a friend. Will have to think twice about ordering again if the shipping condition is not done better. Thank You

Had good flavor, tried it today. It has enough ingredients to make a nice bite per spoonful. I considered it to be reasonably priced, calculating per can , compared to buying individual at stores. I ordered it specifically because of the no salt added description. I was recently sick and happened to look at sodium levels from Dr's suggestion, and was surprised to see regular soups having such high levels (and THEN, realizing its doubled since 2 serv. Per can. But I am happy with this product and will buy again, most likely before I run out , haha.

Finally, there is a soup available that won't put you into heart failure with all the salt! It is a delicious, full body soup (not thin and runny), that I could eat everyday. You will notice the low salt content immediately upon tasting, and you can also add a pinch of salt if you choose, but you can never remove it once added. Be careful. Too much salt is unhealthy. It might all be a matter of getting used to. It's cheaper to get automatic deliveries as well. Highly recommend!!!!!
