Nice vanilla smell and stays on for about 10 Hours which is perfect for me!

***NOTE*** The top of my review states it's a verified purchase for "Forbidden Desire," but that is NOT correct. I've never ordered that scent before. What I purchased was one bottle each of Rose and Vanilla, so my review will be broken down for both (Amazon also isn't letting me leave a separate review for each individual fragrance, despite buying them from different sellers, so I have to combine their reviews). I guess Amazon is having some brain farts today. ;)ROSE: I'm picky about rose fragrances and I only like very realistic, simplistic, and non-"perfumey" rose scents. I took a gamble on this one and I'm so glad I did! It smells delicious and like I just woke up in a bed of fresh roses. I love it! When I first unscrewed the cap and took a whiff I initially thought the scent was a bit too faint, but once I apply it to my skin it gets much stronger. This oil doesn't have any powdery/musky or "old lady" (forgive the term) undertones that I've found can sometimes accompany other rose fragrances. It's just a feminine, fresh and singular rose scent. If you adore the smell of real roses I'd highly recommend giving this one a try! I get lots of compliments when I wear it. :)VANILLA: Ok, I'm leaving my review at 5 stars because the rose oil is so phenomenal and Amazon won't let me do an independent review for the vanilla for some reason. However, I wanted to give you fine folks a rundown on it regardless. I do like the vanilla, but if I could do a separate review for it I wouldn't give it a full 5 stars. Just like rose, I'm fairly picky about my vanilla scents. I like something as close to genuine vanilla as I can get, but just a tad more feminine/sweet (not by much though). In my opinion this vanilla scent is somewhat mediocre. Not bad mind you, but it doesn't wow me either. I'll still happily wear it... I just wish it was closer to genuine vanilla. Instead it seems a tad faint and it also has a more sweet, almost coconut-y undertone than I'd expected. As I said, it's certainly not terrible, but it just doesn't satisfy my craving for a really deep, sexy, yummy, earthy vanilla. Another reviewer mentioned that the Sandalwood Vanilla scent is nice and earthy, so I'll try that one next and leave a review. Or maybe I'll just raid the kitchen and douse myself in real vanilla. Kidding! (Maybe.)

It is a true vanilla scent. I was told that I smell like cake when I wear it... In a good way, lol. But there is no other notes. Which is what I was looking for. So.... Love love love it!

I always buy another bottle before my other bottle of vanilla scent runs out. When I finally opened and applied, it smelt like burnt popcorn! Never had a problem with this product before but by that time the return window had closed. If you buy, sniff it first to make sure it's fresh so you can return if not. I will buy again since only 1 bad batch in over 30 purchases for this vanilla scent.

It's the only perfume that I like that I'm not allergic to.

I have religiously been wearing this since 1995! I hate all of the designer perfumes that are over powering! But I can't even explain how much I love this true vanilla scent....and I still receive compliments!!! I've heard how good I smell for years! Some say it smells like cotton candy or cookies or like a fresh sweet shower. I typically don't like to give my secret away because I don't want a lot of people to steal my signature secret vanilla scent! The closest other scent I've found is the vanilla bean Noel from bath and body works. I love that this is a natural product without all the chemicals. I was buying it from Native Art (went out of buiz) and was so happy to discover it at Whole foods but was the absolute happiest to discover it on Amazon! At $8 per bottle this is a bargain and one of #mycultclassics! I buy a box of 12 and it lasts me about 2 years with daily use!

My daughter had bought this for me a couple of years ago and I really enjoyed it. It's not too over powering for me. So when I found it online I was thrilled and ordered more. However I purchased from a seller with no integrity, it had leaked and bottle looked nasty, half printing was gone, label on top of bottle was blurred from the oil and the bottle was not full. Seller wanted me to pay return postage, what class! I have no intention of paying for their mistake. They should have been sure the lid was secure. I will look for another seller, this one sucks!I wish I could upload the picture of the product so you could get an idea of what it looks like. I'll clean up the bottle, won't carry it in purse looking like it does.
