EastarTrumpet Stand Portable Trumpet Holder Foldable Metal 5 Leg Stand for Brass Instruments EST-001

I was delighted with my Eastar trumpet and I liked the idea of a freestanding stand to put the instrument down during breaks, etc... Since Eastar was a great value for the trumpet, I decided to get the stand from them also.It comes in a nice bag, which is nice because my trumpet case doesn't have enough room for a stand. The stand is very simple to operate: unscrew the bottom part and extend the legs, then screw it back on. The photos should say it all. With 5 legs, the stand is very stable. The plastic cone comes with pieces of sticky felt that prevent the inside of the trumpet bell from getting scratched. Eastar even shipped some extra felts.The stand has some heft to it, so it won't fall easily. When resting the trumpet on the stand, no need to push it down hard, in fact it will just make it rub more off the stand so it is harder to lift. A few times I had to put my foot on one of the stand legs because the stand was lifting with the trumpet because I pushed it too far in.Overall a great accessory for your trumpet, especially for band environments so you don't lay your instrument on the floor during breaks (my kids band director asks then to leave the cases in the back of the room, so they usually don't put the instrument back in the case before rehearsal is over.I wish someone would invent a trumpet stand that is small enough to fit in a trumpet case, but until then this stand will work great.

While it is true that the top may be a too-tight fit for some horns, it is easy to rip of the felt at the top, and plenty will still be left stuck to the tape to provide sufficient padding protection, and the horn will then probably fit fine (this did work for my smaller-bore trumpet). The stand is basically excellent.

Just what my son wanted. I had an older version from when I was young and my son loved it so I bought him this one. I like it so much I’m going to buy another to replace my old one. It’s way more stable than my 3 legged version

This stand is very covenant and keeps the trumpet safe from getting knocked over. All it takes is one misplaced horn and the horn is ruined, avoid that but getting a dedicated stand for lengthen the life of your trumpet while at the same time, you look professional and knowledgeable when shifting your music. Fits inside the bell for easy storage.

The media could not be loaded.  Overall a great, sturdy, and compact trumpet stand. I bought it at the same time that I bought my Eastar trumpet for my kids.I primarily purchased this stand, because I remember when I was a kid that one of the things that hindered me from practicing was thinking about the process of getting my instrument in and out of the case. Once I got a stand, I often found myself just picking up my instrument and playing when I walked by or had 10 minutes of free time. So, I got this to encourage my kids to do the same as they learn.I've had no issues with stability or been worried about the trumpet falling over. My cats have even rubbed against the trumpet on the stand, while it was sitting on a table, and there was no issue.

I like that the legs on this stand are metal. This makes the stand much more sturdier than I thought it would be. Easily packs up and stores inside the horn of my trumpet too.

It was a gift. May need more if he gets more horns!

I’ve been using this stand for approximately 3 months. Fits perfectly in the bell and inside the case for storage when disassembled. Very stable: even when off-balanced with a lyre and music holder it will remain upright and will not tip. Sturdy construction and a bit of heft with the right amount of weight.

Perfect! Sturdy, I trust my horn wont get knocked over plus it fits perfectly in my bell allowing easy storage. Would 100% recommend.
