Exercise Balance Pad – Large Cushioned Non-Slip Foam Mat & Knee Pad for Fitness, Stability Training, Physical Therapy, Yoga 15"x19", Blue

I bought this to add a degree of difficult to the balance exercises I am doing. I got the XL size since I have big feet. It is large enough for me to use for a toe to heel stance on the diagonal. It is thick and springy and the textured surface prevents it from sliding on my hardwood floor. I am happy with the quality and use it every day. Good addition to my routine.

Post surgery and after an 18 month illness that left me nearly bed ridden, atrophy in one leg set in requiring extensive rehab and PT. This matt help with balance and it does a superb job in retraining the brain and muscles in learning to walk and balance again. It doesn't look like it would but, because it is soft and spongy, our body starts tipping over in one direction or another. By looking straight ahead and stepping onto this matt, our brains tell our feet calf's, thighs hips, and especially our lower backs to work and maintain balance.

My PCP referred me for PT to work on my balance. We used one of these every week in my sessions. I never saw or heard of one of these until then. Its sponginess makes it a bit challenging to stand on and maintain my balance. That is the whole point. I use it almost daily as a start to my home workout: one foot in front of the other, holding a 5 lb weight in front of my with both hands and then trace the Alphabet with outstretched arms and the 5lb weight. Try it. My PT recommended it as one of her most effective exercises to help with my balance. But you need one of these to really benefit from it. Make sure you get this size. There are smaller, cheaper pads. This one allows you to comfortably place one foot in front of the other. I've been using this for about six months now. Excellent investment in my health!

The stability pad met my expectations.

Recovering from tendon surgery in my foot/ankle, one of my big issues has been balance. Some of the exercises I do at PT include using one of these foam balance pads. It has been so helpful that I felt I should get one to continue these exercises at home once my in-facility PT ends. As I researched the available products, the Prosource Balance Pad stood out for quality and value. Confident that it will really help to strengthen my muscles and improve my balance.

Bought this for helping and recovering from surgery and physical therapy and it works well. It’s a nice thickness if you get better it’s a few inches thick so if you need something higher, this is not the one, but this is good for beginning therapy and then I’m assuming you could add another one on top of it or buy a thicker one later but I was happy

Worked great for after my knee surgery specially if you are tall makes it easier to stand

Arrived with one dent and a stain of something else. Clearly 2nd hand. But I was charged full price. Completely unacceptable. Partner threw away original package or we would have returned it immediately.
