Little Cottage Company Gable Value Shed 10' x 18' Primed Tan

The shed is perfect for our yard. Putting it together was very straight forward with the enclosed instructions. The only draw back was the shipping charge was apparently not enough v for fedex.... they sent me another bill for extra shipping charge, which I have never had happen before

A couple truss boards were cracked and had to be replaced. Drawings, and pictures did not match a couple of the actual siding pieces I received, but was able to make it work. Other than that I was happy with the materials and directions.

I purchased this product for $2,443.67 not knowing that it did Not come as a complete kit as advertised. A complete kit meaning that it had no floor and no shingles for the roof. To me this is not a complete kit. I had to go to Home Depot and spend an additional $600.00 to purchase additional materials to make the floor as well as shingles for the roof. I think that this is very unfair & I will advise everyone I know not to purchase anything from the Little Cottage Company without thoroughly investigating the product.

There were all kinds of things wrong with this purchase. To start, I paid more for this shed than the others I'd found because the photo on Amazon, led me to believe all that had to be done was to stand up walls and put on the rafters and sheeting. What I received was recut lumber, noot prefabbed walls. I hired a framer (at a cost of an additional $1200 to assemble the shed). What the framer found was that many of the studs and rafters were bent, twisted, or warped. We spent a bit of money replacing these pieces. Lastly, the paint was applied to several trim pieces prior to their being cut, leaving edges raw. So, for an additional $600 we had the shed painted.So out final cost was4,170.06 - shed plus shipping1200.00 - assembly ( a buddy and I would have done for a case of beer)600.00 - paint800.00 - roofing.6770.06 - grand total.This figure doesn't include the lumber we had to replace.

Very bad experience with this company. I had multiple conversations prior to purchasing. I was told the panelized kit would have panels 4 feet wide. The shed arrived in 8 foot sections instead. Unloading the 6x8 panels was extremely difficult and definitely not doable with 2 people. The brochure showing the unloading process is almost ridiculous compared to reality. We had to use 4 people and even with that it was very very difficult.What’s worse is that because of our house being a row house with no direct access to the back yard, the 6x8 panels couldn’t fit through the house. I had to pay $600 for labor and materials to cut each panel in half.It appears the company decided to save a few bucks by skimping on a few extra 2x4s and decided to instead double the size of the panels.The worst part: the owner of the company, while very communicative during the sale, completely ignored me when I tried to reach him about this problem.I would not use them again. There are better companies out there than that.
