Adjustable Rat Leash | Harness for Rats and Hamsters (Blue)

Great product! I just got 2 overweight rats from the pet store and wanted to get this to take them outside to give them more exercise. But, once I got it I realized this harness can fit on basically any sized rat. So I can use it on my other 6 rats of varying sizes, as well! It's very easy to use as long as your rattie doesnt move too much while putting it on. But once it's on, you can make it snug so it doesnt slip but they're comfortable. The lead on it is long enough for them to reach the ground with a little slack(I'm 5'1"). It is made of a thick string material that is braided up the lead, but its silky smooth to provide comfort on ratties skin. I'd definitely recommend, cool new product!

I thought this was going to be a scam and rats could get out of it, or our rats would freak out once we put the leash on, but it works great!It is pretty easy to put around both front legs, and our rats don’t seem to be bothered by it. But they did get a little scared about being outside! We never bring them out in fear the will run off (they are so fast), so it was a new experience. But now we can sit outside with them without the fear of them getting lost.It is pretty long and well made. I think it should last a long time as long as the rats don’t nibble on it. Definitely worth the $.

I love how simple it is! My rats were absolutely ok with the leashes! Sometimes they slipped out but it was just a matter of me not tightening it enough

I’ve tried a few harness, all of which they could get out of. I thought this was going to be another failed, cheap option but it works great! I can adjust it perfectly and they seem comfortable in it. I use it for most out of cage activities so I can keep tabs on them since I also have dogs and cats (who think they’re snacks). It’s easy on and easy off and they love their freedom indoor and outdoor with it. Leash is a little short but otherwise work it.

These work really great they sit snug and don’t choke your rat just do it to where they can’t back out of it and still have a little bit of free movement and you’re fine I took my rats outside and had a great time they sniffed around they got a little scared and climbed up me a few times but they loved it they were outside and can climb trees and they had a great time I recommend this highly thank you so much and great quality!

My rat Shady is back after 24 hours under my shed, so I'm still testing it out INSIDE a confined area because I'm wondering if I didn't tighten it enough... to be continued after I try it on her sister Gemma. The reviews suggest to monitor the clasp.

The reviews seemed really positive so I was excited about this leash but it didn't work. Both of my rats slipped out very quickly. I think its because the cord is so slick, you don't even have to press the button on the adjuster for it to slide, they can just push it.

I purchased 2 of these. The concept is good. The issue is my rats have no problem taking them off once they get into a dark corner. I’ve found once they run under a bush or something they have no problem slipping right out of it. The shipping was good the seller was good. The product is as expected. It just doesn’t work for me. Gave 2 stars because everything is as expected. If the rats could not remove them it would be a 5 star.
