Very comfortable gloves where all fingers fit as needed. Love the leather on these gloves. Looks premium. I also have the Sedici gloves but these fit better. The Sedici are bulkier but have more safety features at a lower price point. The Alpinestars are premium gloves nonetheless and I intend to keep and use especially in the hot Summer months. In summary, the Alpinestars are premium, lighter, better fitting, great looking motorcycle gloves than anything out there. I don't have scientific data judging safety but from my experience I value comfort and fitness as much as extra padding features.

These are exceptionally well crafted and fit snug and just right in my hands. I purchased the mediums because I like the gloves to be tight on my hands so I can feel more of what I’m doing rather than having loose baggy gloves where the finger tips are too long and you can’t really feel or be as accurate with what your doing. A large would fit but probably just too big and the mediums fit just perfect enough to where they’re not too small but just perfect. They feel great. Priced a bit high I feel but I’d buy them again over the cheaper brands.

I kept replacing my old riding gear from Alpinestars catalog of riding. I was genuinely surprised by the superior quality and performance of Alpinestars products. I have replaced everything with alpinestars except my helmet but believe there’s a savings fund to remedy that.

I had to return these gloves because they didn’t fit. I went by the size chart and purchased a size small, but the fingers were very tight and the wrist strap barely reached across the underside of my wrist. The gloves seem nice and I was looking forward to riding with them. I may try a medium.

I used to use leather icon gloves and switch to the alpinestars I love the quality of these gloves the fitment is amazing the leather quality is superb they just fit and feel amazing a great value they're thick durable and the material is just amazing

I loved my leather Alpinestars everyday basic gloves, but after 20 years (!) and no serious incidents they just looked beaten up. They were perfectly adjusted to my hands. Shall miss them. So I got these. Heavens, they were super tight at first even though I ordered the right size according to their recommendation. But I somewhat remembered that my previous gloves were also stuff and tight at first, and needed some time to fit me "like a glove". I got these a week ago, and indeed they are much more comfy now and I am confident they'll soon become just as comfy as my old ones. Alpinestars know what they are doing. Clearly these are everyday, practical gloves - they are not racing or trackday gloves. For that everyday purpose, they seem to provide great protection in likely impact areas. Naturally I hope I never have o find out just how effective the protection is... :-) I have used them in 40F weather over the last few days, and they do provide quite decent insulation. In a nutshell: these adjust to your hands, becoming comfy in everyday urban riding, the tailored fit makes them effective in protection (I assume) and they are priced right.

I can't speak to long-term durability. But my initial impressions are very much positive. This is my first purchase of Alpinestar products. These replaced a pair of Klim Induction gloves which my (late) dog ate. Klim seems to be no longer making the Induction model, except in XS & 3XL. I like the Alpenstars just as much and they're not much more than half the price of Klim. So superior value. My only caveat: Order a size larger. My hand measures large using most sizing guidelines. I ordered XL and, if anything, the Alpinestars are a tad snug. I'm thinking that they may loosen up as I break them in. Again, I am very pleased with my purchase. And I was just kidding about the dog; she is alive and well.

Suggestions on going up one size is true. If you get the size which fits you, it will be very snug. Chart says I fit a large but I got an extra large as a lot of video and other site says. Over all it fits good, quality as expected from alpine star is not bad
