These knives look great in the ad but did not arrive that way. One thing though that I hoped wouldn't happen to me that another person who purchased them mentioned in his/her review was that the knives arrived all scratched up. A few of my knives came scratched too. Also, the entire set came, and it was SO dirty. There is an example in the pics above of the little black dots that were literally ALL over it when it first got to my home. The pic only shows one little black dot but that was after I wiped it down. I don't know if this was a return that got sent to me, but I was pretty grossed out to find that they were so dirty upon arrival. I had to scrub them off. There were little black dots all over the place. I was able to wipe the block down and scrub the knives but still not great since I don't know what the black dots were. Also, the block for the knives came fairly scratched up as well. I attached some pics of just a few of the scratches on it. The pictures don't even show all of them since the scratches are hard to photograph but are very apparent when you look at it. I would expect that the product would come nice and new without scratches but this one seems to have either been used or was beat up during production. Finally, the scissors that came with it are such low quality that I won't even bother using them. I have better ones I can use. Overall, it was a disappointing purchase & I am considering returning them. I do like that they are labeled on the top of the knives and I also like that the base is stainless steel, but the allure of those things completely goes away when you see the shape they're in. Buyer beware!!!

So far so good. Cutting is great and there is no rust at all. They are always washed in the dishwasher.

Great price for a nice set of knives with a sharpener built in.2 downsides to this set -1 - The straight up vertical orientation of the knives are difficult to remove while being directly under a cabinet, must pull the set out from under the cabinets to remove a knife.2 - The enclose sounds "tinny" when removing/placing the knives in place. Maybe they could add a small piece of insulation on the inside to dampen the sound?-1 star, other than that a great set.

Great looking knife set , seems sturdy and a good value for the price.

These are good knives. Unfortunately, when I bought, them I didn't notice that the holder was not angled.So selecting a knife without moving the entire knife set is impossible, if these knives are stored on the counter, under a kitchen cabinet.

Great set of knives! They feel sturdy, they look nice, and they are very sharp. The sharpener is also great. The stainless still matches with the rest of my stainless steel appliances so that’s a plus. I also like how they labeled the appropriate use on each knife . The only reason why it lost a star is because they should have designed it so that the knife slots slanted forward instead of up to provide a bit more versatility. Since I keep the knife set on the counter underneath a cabinet I have to pull out or tilt the entire unit in order to pull out the knife. Not a huge issue just a little inconvenient. I would still recommend this set!

It arrived on time and wasn’t damaged as others said there’s was. I am very please with the product and it is stand out making it even better.
