Brought these because Ernie Ball Slinky's are pricey , I've had them fitted on my ibanez for two months and I've hammered the life out of these strings still ringing nicely stay in tune and notation is also good Bargain .

Sturdy strings, cheap, but worth it
I would not recommend these for the avid band member, these strings are the best you can expect really for the price. Definitely more for the home practitioner. They do last a good time,the quality of play is great, and the sound crisp and clear. If using them at a concert, have a couple of other packs nearby just in case one goes, I couldn't attest to their durability in intense situations, but then I wouldn't say they are designed for the heavy rock star treatment. Perhaps having a couple of packs just in case when playing live, might still be the cheaper option. I am happy, I use them for recording at a small home studio, the playback is as good as any other quality string I've used in the past. Meantime I shall continue to use these, until at least I become the next Jeff Beck. (don't hold your breath on that one, you will end up a terrible looking shade of purple).
