Houdini CPAP Hose Support System | Newly Upgraded | CPAP Bedside Holds Underneath Mattress | Adjustable

Using this with my CPAP has really helped as I no longer fight with the air tube all night. I hate using the CPAP but find that I have no choice. Still, I could never get a good seal and the air was always blowing in my eyes and I would be wrapped up in the air hose and nearly pull the CPAP machine off my bedside table. Struggling with the setup at night was almost as bad as not using the CPAP, at all. But when I found the Houdini CPAP Hose Support, things changed. I still hate using the CPAP, but the support keeps the hose out of the way so I no longer have to fight with it at night. And by keeping the hose suspended over me, I have much fewer episodes in which the mask shoots air in my eyes all night. And, I no longer worry about pulling the machine off the table when adjusting the hose. The frame is light-weight, but seems to be very nice quality. In fact, it is a much higher quality than I was expecting for the price. And the plate fits far enough under the mattress to give the frame enough support to hold the hose without a problem. The frame turns easily so there is no problem when you turn over while you sleep and it can be adjusted up or down to accommodate pillow height. Buy it - you won't be disappointed.

We have one of those hose holders that has the blue pipes, one fitting down into the other, so you can easily disassemble it. You slide the base under the bed, same as this one. Well, when I had to move a bed down here into part of our main living area, I didn't want that BLUE hose holder glaring at me every time I walked by. I've always hated it, but it did the job. This one is stainless, so it blends into the background a little better. It's designed to be slid underneath the mattress, but for ease of changing the bedding, I decided to just slide it right underneath the CPAP machine. Had I slid it underneath the mattress, it would be even more hidden. I'm happy with it as is, though, because it more or less fades into the background. The hoses are hidden behind the headboard. It's a simple matter to swing them around at night. The individual pieces of the holder screw together on this one, so it's more stable than the blue one, but a little more time consuming to disassemble for travel. That doesn't bother me. To assemble, you just screw the three stainless pieces together, and then it will still telescope after that. It's very comfortable to use. This was well worth the money to us.

A little on the flimsy side but my CPAP tubing and mask (despite) together, not weigh a ton. Provide relief from mask resting on my right cheek (my machine is set on my right) and wake me up at night. I still wake, but not because of the tubing rubbing on my cheek but because of the CPAP mask now - which is irrelevant to my review of this holder.In all, nice and light holder. I’ll just have to see how long it will hold up to!

When I first opened the unit I thought 'this thing is way too small' but it telescopes quite far and is really a nice product. Simple, effective and reasonably priced. Wish I got it much sooner. Would recommend.

Great idea, need to rework the design. I liked it, the first one broke easily at the angle. Great customer service, they replaced it. The second one broke at the same place...refund. In the right place, ie higher than this one was placed, it worked great and never broke. My previous one was purchased 4 years ago and had no problems.

This thing looks like a cutting board was combined with a old car antennae and a hair scrunchy but it's seriously a life changing contraption. If you use a CPAP and are a toss and turner type of person than this is a must. It suspends the cpap mask hose above you and since the hose swivels 360 degrees(at least mine does) this allows me to toss and turn all I want and the hose always stays out of the way. Before this device I'd be constantly fighting with the hose since it would restrict me movement. Now I can switch around from back, to side, to stomach sleeping without a care in the world. Since your bedroom will look like a nursing home it's nice the whole thing can be hidden with ease. You have company over? Just push down the antennae like pole and it hides completely behind your pillows. I highly recommend!

At first, I really liked this item but to my surprise, as I was lowering it one morning it broke in half at one of the joints. I called the company who's name is on the base plate of the item and they just said they didn't do anything with replacement and that was to contact the people I purchased it from. When I told them that I purchased it through Amazon and asked if Amazon would help me with this issue they just said, "I don't know". Needless to say, I'm not very happy with the quality of this item and certainly not from CPAPology.

This was the perfect solution...until it snapped in half less than one month of using it. I could tell it wasn’t very sturdy in the first place. My suspicion was confirmed when it snapped and I found that there was flimsy plastic at the neck of the Houdini. On to the search for a replacement!
