350 foot Ethernet run
I ran 350 feet of this Ethernet cable to my shop from the house. I was concerned about the distance and took measures to extend the life of the Cat 7 cable. I ran it through a wall in my office, in the attic and down to the ground about 180 feet underground. I put the Ethernet cable through PVC piping and glued the pieces together to keep the cable from the elements. This was over kill - because it is direct burial -but I didnβt want to do that job again. At the end of 2 days work - I am running about 930 megabits per second download speeds at the end of a 350 foot run. This is almost identical to the speeds I get at my comcast X1 router. The cable is thick and well insulated. I would buy this same cable for my next big Ethernet job. Highly recommend.

Great cable for indoor and outdoor use
used this wire twice, once to route my Router to an access point, and another time to send Ethernet to a room that was very far from wifi. Both times I have had a good experience. The only issue I had was: when making holes I had to make them 1/2 an inch. This was fine, however, if you do not want to make large holes or cannot cover them up you will want to take the connectors off and then replace them.pros:-sturdy connector-thick and shielded cable-bite resistant (for protection against pets)-incredibly fast (I have a 1gig switch and this wire could handle faster switches)cons:-big connector

This is the outdoor ethernet that you need.
To explain why I needed this product: I have my router downstairs in the living room. My office set up is upstairs on the other side of the house. I ran this ethernet from the living room, to outside through the wall. Then tracing it across the outside of the house to the office. Drilled through the window and have it hard connected into my PC. Very durable and does not limit any speed! I have 1GB internet and getting that!the head of the ethernet is a little thick, but if you want durable, this is it.

Check before you install, patience if you have to terminate
Excellent quality cable. Jacket is super thick and each pair is insulated and protected with wire mesh. This is very impressive cable and priced very reasonable. i had to terminate a few times. To do it quickly pull through a lot so you can easily keep track of the cables because the stripped pairs are just white so if you don't give yourself enough room you're gonna get confused and probably mix the cables.

Not For POE Outdoor Cameras - but good cable
I liked this cable. Heavy duty and can take abuse. I purchased the 150 ft version and it'll drive the outdoor POE cameras very nicely. /HOWEVER/ - most outdoor IP cameras come with a waterproof coupling. You can't get the coupling over this RJ45 end. That means that you have to either cut off the camera-end RJ45 and crimp on a new one. Assuming that you have the tools and the know-how so that you can use the waterproof coupling. If you don't have the tools or you can't be bothered you can substantially trim away the green plastic "boot" around the RJ45 until you can eventually force the waterproof coupling over it. It is a big hassle to do and when you have many cameras as do I it is a huge waste of time. I tried another brand of cable at the same time, also here on amazon.com, with the same specs. That brand had a soft rubber "boot" around the RJ45 and this boot could be slid backward, away from the RJ45 leaving plenty of space for the waterproof coupling. This other brand was quick, secure and painless. If you're not going to be using waterproof couplings are you don't mind cutting off and replacing the RJ45 then this is a great cable.

Hardwired for outdoor internet router
This cable was used for 180ft extension of internet router through buried conduit to an outdoor router link. This cable was stiff cable, with high quality durability the end tips are quite large a 5/8β drill bit was used to service the cable.

So far so good
Pulled to my garage from my house in an underground conduit for setting up wifi. Cable is strong and has plenty of insulation for protection. Wifi works great so cable is doing its job as expected.
