Been using a handheld before this, so this is awesome. This can be used for shooting even with one person. I like that it can be released with your foot. You do have to get your placement of the clays figured out so it will shoot in your perfect range. But if you use the same placement, you get the same spot in the sky to shoot. We enjoyed using this.

Hard to get tension right. Bust 1 out of 5 when throwing singles. Busted both anytime we tried 2

The media could not be loaded. Does it’s job for the price. Honestly works fine once you get the hang of it. Easy to put together and set up. I’ve seen reviews of people saying it doesn’t throw far but all you have to do is adjust the screw that pulls the spring.

Haven't used it yet. Straight out of the box it was a hot mess, missing about half of the hardware and my husband had to use hardware we had of our own. He has been working on puting it together for about and hour and is very frustrated. My husband feels the metal is pretty cheap, swing arm is dented and not straight anf bends and twists when locking in arm, this is dangerous. Next time we'll pay a little more for better quality. My husband being able to work with metal will fabricate new peices and make it work. Sad day.Day#2 metal has been reinforced and may actually survive it's first day to the shooting range. He might has well have built his own for how much time and fabs he did. This product needs pulled. Allen Company if you want to learn how make a sound product then go ahead and give my husband jiggle he'll show yah. I figure by now you should owe him some $$$$ for his time and labor.

In the photo it appears the price connecting the main thrower to the foot pedal is a metal bar but when it arrives it was a cable. The cable broke on my first time taking it out and I had to Jerry-Rig it. Once I did it seemed to work fine.

Never owned one of these before so I for sure shopped around. Decided on this one. Great Purchase! Easy to set up and easy to use! Would recommend this to anyone. Great value/product for the price! Already looking forward to the next time I can use this.

This thing is honestly not very good. First off, it takes a decent amount of strength to set the spring, a smaller woman or kid could probably not do it. Now it will throw 1-2 clays very well, but the foot pedal is super cheap metal and not welded very well. After it breaking off the first time I used it, and rewelding it a couple times, I finally decided to screw it to a sheet of plywood. Save your money for a nicer one.
