Cooks Standard 02595 Clad Stainless Steel Stir Fry Pan with Glass Lid 12-Inch Multi-Ply Wok, Silver

I have many expensive cookware (All-Clad) so I was hesitant to purchase a brand I had never heard of. I also have a wok that I rarely use due to maintenance requirements. This stainless steel wok pan has become my favorite cookware, and I use it for everything! I love the weight of it, much lighter than my All-Clad cookware. The 12-inch size and the wok shape is perfect, especially for pasta and stir fry’s. The stainless steel is easy to clean, and for some reason, food does not stick to it unlike my All-Clad cookware. I also love that it comes with a glass lid.

This wok is very well made. Very solid but it is heavy, so you need both handles to lift it easily. I would prefer something smaller and lighter in one sense but I chose this size for a larger non sloped cooking surface. I also chose this for healthy reasons as I avoid non stick cookware. I have not had a problem cleaning this wok and it helps that the stainless steel is so smooth and polished. I would be comfortable recommending this provided you can handle the weight.

it's a great wok. but bear in mind it is a wok. I made a mistake of thinking I could use it as a pan but that was a failure and I had to buy a separate stainless steel pan. don't get me wrong, it really is good for being a wok, I just don't do that much asian cooking. the mistake was mine to not understand it can only be used as a wok lol. so if you do asian cooking frequently, then definitely get this.
