This is absolutely the best laundry detergent I have ever used. First purchased at Bass Pro Shops, then decided to purchase the 40oz through Amazon (delivered without any package leaks). This is unscented so your clothes actually smell spectacularly neutral. It removes stains and funky odors in a pinch. This does NOT leave any residue or ingredient odor - way cleaner that national brand detergents. For those with pets or kids, it actually cleans clothes and gets funky (you know the kind) messes and stains. This should be everyone's everyday detergent.

Love this product. I am not a hunter but use this detergent for odor removal. A little bit into the laundry and deep set odors are gone with no funky after smell.

I love this detergent. Frangrance free and gets rid of all armpit odors, even in synthetics.

The product itself looks good, and I can't wait to try it. I only have one suggestion for improvement. The bottle arrived inside a box and a zip-top bag, which helped prevent the shipping box from getting soaked when some liquid leaked out during transit. I removed the plastic bottle from the bag, rinsed it off, and everything was fine. That said, adding a seal under the cap would likely prevent any liquid from spilling during shipping and improve the overall customer experience.

I have been using DDW exclusively on my laundry for several years, and I love it. I have gotten used to the scent of laundry washed in DDW...it is the definition of what clean laundry smells like to me now. I use several of their products actually (bar soap, deodorant, body wash, dryer sheets). However, the reason I'm writing a review of the detergent only now is because it managed to really impress me recently. I was running low, so I (stupidly) decided to use a Tide Pod to wash a brand new set of sheets. I never use Tide, but my Mom had given my husband a bag of "original" scent pods that she didn't want (now I know why). After the sheets were washed, I went to transfer them to the dryer, and the stench was nauseating! Apparently, they thought it was a good idea to change the "original" scent to something that smells like a sickly-sweet, overwhelmingly strong cheap perfume (reading recent reviews of Tide, I am apparently not the only one who thinks the new smell is ghastly). I got a headache just transferring the sheets to the dryer. I hoped the smell would reduce when the sheets were dry, but nope, all it did was make my dryer reek like my sheets and washer now did. I knew I would get a migraine if I tried to sleep on the sheets smelling like they did, so I put them back in the washer with the last of my DDW, and hoped for the best. After only one wash with DDW, the sheets (and the washer), only smelled like the pleasant, very light scent of DDW. I threw the sheets in the dryer again with 3 dryer sheets, and that solved the problem of the dryer smelling. I am so happy with the scent-removing power of Dead Down Wind. I thought I had ruined a brand-new $60 sheet set, but DDW saved the day! I was so happy, I was literally standing in the laundry room burying my face in the clean sheets, inhaling only the wonderful, familiar scent of DDW-washed laundry, for a good five minutes. I immediately bought more from Amazon, since I have a lot more laundry to do this week (I usually buy it locally but don't have time to go out and get some), and unfortunately the bottle must've been slightly open because it leaked in the box, but thankfully only a little bit. I hope they never change the formula, because this stuff absolutely works!
