Excellent Product
I bought this to add some RGB lighting to the used case I got. I plugged the RGB fans that came with the case and at first I thought the fans weren't going to light up or it will fry them all but to my astonishment it worked. Very easy to install and the remote that comes with it is self explanatory. Adjusting the fan speed from the remote and the ability to change the color and variation from the remote is so helpful. My motherboard doesn't have an RGB connector so I can't connect the RGB controller to the motherboard and have a RGB lighting software control it hence why the remote that comes with it is so freaking handy.I am extremely satisfied with my decision to buy this controller.

Worked with cyberpower fans
I purchased a cyberpower computer and received some cyberpower 6 pin fans. The rgb controller they installed stopped working. This was the perfect replacement. Worked with my 6 pin cyberpower fans without any problems. This also seems sturdier than the one that came with my PC. Great product.

Died IMMEDIATELY
I bought this guy before seeing the reviews talking about fire and magic smoke, so I took quite a bit more care than I would have otherwise. I only have two TT-2030 RGB fans that came with the ThermalTake Commander C33 case I'm using that I am looking to power from this board, not a big current draw -- I saw another negative review that seemed to power six fans from the same board, and the review with a literal fire was a unit with a SATA plug (mine came with a Molex plug) that appears to be caused from a short (there is no other way a low-voltage wire would get hot enough to catch fire) so I thought maybe I might be fine since that is a different unit. There's four screws on the bottom, so I opened it up, inspected the board thoroughly for signs of damage, a bad solder, a misplaced component, didn't see anything. Wound up leaving the side of my case open with my hand holding the power cable and a fire extinguisher on standby in case anything happened. IMMEDIATELY upon turning the computer on, there were a few pops and then the smell of magic smoke. Opened it back up again and inspected the damage (see the picture), one of the unlabeled chips had a literal crater in it, and the HCF405B (which is a multiplexer IC based on the datasheet) had some goo on it that wasn't there before.Nothing positive to say other than the JRainbow cable it came with worked with the Commander C33's stock board and let me run the lights from there, and it's a cable I had trouble sourcing at all, so in a roundabout way it solved an issue I had. JRainbow cable works great, but the unit itself is junk. Don't buy unless you need that cable and are tossing the rest as I will be doing.

works as advertised, and working on my aorus board!
i bought this in hopes that it would work on my aorus x570 itx board, since it has a regular argb header vs gigabytes weird vdg header and YES! it DOES work! though gigabytes software is wonky in addressing leds, but hey, i wont complain.the mounting tape works great and although ill never use 10 fans in this case, im glad to see the support. maybe more led strip headers instead of fan headers would be nice, but overall very happy with these results!

Not what I needed but what I needed
The unit is okay, or at least it lights up. Not the cable that I needed. Mostly my mistake. Just make sure you don't need a different plug

Make your computer rig a disco light! ;-)
So it does control the LED lighting on the fans, but more importantly, it also controls the fans speed/noise levels. Happy with my purchase!
