Gourmet Espresso Pods - Double Shot (Regular), 50 Pods/Box

Okay, I purchased these thinking it was a pretty good deal (although I hate to pay for shipping) and I didn't see a whole lot of options out there. The box arrived with no brand name or labels-just a plain cardboard box with the espresso pods just thrown in. That seems weird to me which is why I give it a 4. The pods are in individual foil packages, printed with "Lavazza 14 g espresso regular Paramount 80080000523106." I can't say much for the flavor because I add milk, chocolate and creamer to make it less coffee tasting. But the crema looks pretty! It fits snuggly inside the larger (double) filter on my espresso machine and works perfectly every time.

I have ordered this from Green Tree before and was happy. Not so much this time. First, the coffee arrived in a broken box, and some of the pods had fallen out in shipping. Worse, the pods we not the "La Pod" pods I ordered, but were a different brand that did not fit my machine well. Very worst, many of the pods were actually the single-shot size, not the double-shot size I ordered. I would give one star, but the coffee is decent, but not nearly as tasty as the La Pod coffee. Makes a great double shot of espresso and if you have a home machine that comes with 2 sizes of holders for the ESE pod, this works in the larger holder. I use both large and small pod holder and buy both double and single pods. If want a double shot I use these doubles in the larger ESE pod holder. Do not know if all home use machines come with 2 sized ESE holders, but know my De'Longhi does.

I was apprehensive making this purchase because I wasn't familiar with the brand but to my surprise, found the flavor and aroma to be top notch! Perfect crema every time. Highly recommend.

very simple and easy to use with the right espresso machine... great taste and awesome flavoring. i am now just writing to make this long enough.

The La Pod espresso pods are excellent, dark rich smooth taste. They make wonderful mocha or latte'. I am very pleased with this purchase. Well made pods sealed in foil to stay fresh.
