do you have to buy 2 of these to replace the filters in the 300 unit or does it come with 2 hepa filters and 2 carbon filters??

Great question! (I am a teacher, so...) the box comes with two of the same filters (as your air puifier requires two, one on each side.) The helps and carbon filters are all in one. So, the “box” containing two filters will replace the consumable (throw away) filters. The other filters are the screen filters which you vacuume/wash 2-4 weeks depending on your use and air particles in your environment. I have had my Air Mega for over a year. The replaceable box of two filters has been changed at 9 months, but I have four dogs and a small house which the air gets circulated quite often. I also run mine on high all day and “smart” at night. If you have another question post it and I’ll get back with you. I am truly a customer, don’t work or get kick backs from Air Mega; this is a great machine, I think best in the market! Donnie

Does the Airmega filter for 300/300s fit the 400/400s model?

No, filters for the 400/400S are larger. But we do have both in stock!

Are these genuine filters from Coway or knockoffs?

If they are made by Coway they are genuine. There are about 6 to 8 knockoff brands from 29.00 up to the Coway price. Coway’s prices change dramatically from 64.99 to 99.00 but they are original.
