These are decent hooks. My main purpose for buying was so I could use one for our dog leash. Because of the thick handle on the dog leash, I needed something with enough depth. This is the perfect size for the leash to hang nicely against the wall. I bought a couple extras to use as coat hooks, but because of the depth coming out from the wall like I mentioned before, I couldn't use them on the wall inside our mud room like I had originally planned. They stick too far out from the wall, and it would've been an issue with the back of the door hitting them and getting scuffed up. So I found another place for the coat hooks in our hallway. A couple things to be aware of- they do not come with anchors which I found odd. Also, the finish gets easily scratched and scuffed when installing with a drill. I deducted a star for these two issues. Otherwise, they seem to be nice and sturdy. (once you buy the proper anchors)

Very satisfied with the hook. We were not sure how the finish will work with our dark (stain called tobacco) colored mud room bench so we only ordered one. Just installed the hook and it looks great. While we have oil rubbed bronze hardware on doors, that option in this hook did not seem (by looking at picture) to have enough bronze tone in it so we went with caramel bronze. Hook large enough to comfortably hang small items in lower hook and large items on top hook. In terms of installation, we had to pre-drill holes in the hard wood before using the provided screws. Just ordered 4 more of these!

I bought 4 Amerock hooks. They are very sturdy and look nice. The smaller, hat hook even makes it possible to hang scarves or another jacket on each hook. My original hall tree only had 4 hangers with no extra hat hook. Instead of hanging 4 coats, we can now hang as many as 12 coats or jackets. This really helps when kids and grandkids come over. Now everyone has a spot to hang their coats. Not difficult to install either. Caution: Make sure your hall tree is thick enough to accommodate the installation screws enclosed. They are long.

I love this hook for storing my reusable grocery bags. I used smaller screws and mounted it on a hollow closet door. It is sturdy and keeps a bunch of assorted sized reusable bags handy and organized.

I bought these coat and hat hooks to use on a coat tree I made. The coat tree was a hexagon and each face was less than 1 1/4". I needed hooks that were less than that dimension in width. I emailed Amerock to find out the exact dimensions of their various hooks. They emailed me with the information and I picked the large hook, which worked great. The color looks amazing with my maple and walnut coat tree. Great product and great customer service!

This hook is exactly as advertised. It fit my coat rack perfectly and the double hook holds a jacket and hat without difficulty. I ordered 6 and spaced them equally apart on my alder coat rack, with a chestnut stain. The hook perfectly matches my other oil-rubbed bronze hardware. The price was middle-of-road, but since it's hard to find as many as I wanted in one batch, I opted to buy them. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase.

We were building a house and were look for oil-rubbed bronze hooks for our mud room. They were very difficult to find, we found and purchased these at Amazon and were not disappointed. They are hooks! I'm not sure how to rate them a five-star but they are solid, attractive, and financially reasonable.

The size of the hook is misleading. It would be 9" if it was straightened out, as it is curved the height is closer to 5"
