This is a space-saving smart staircase。I highly recommend it。It saves some of my work time, and almost any job is great and easier. The extension ladder did a lot of help on my installation wires, allowing me to enter a narrow space and work. Some bends when I stand on it (I weigh 180 pounds) but feel safe and sturdy. The steps are easy to move and lock securely. Comes in a Velcro strap that folds. Any car's trunk can basically be loaded. It is a good choice.

I don't know how I lived this long without this ladder! It makes so much more sense than trying to drag a giant ladder around inside a house. We bought it to permanently affix to an attic access hatch that normal folding stairs won't fit. but I don't want to give it up as a household ladder now. The first week we had it, a smoke alarm way up in a cathedral ceiling decided its battery was dead and began shrieking in the middle of the night. Just grabbed this ladder and the problem was solved in minutes without having to go out in the garage or outside to get the big ladders. It's not heavy at all for a man, but its a bit heavy for a small woman, but I can still easily carry it if I really wanted to...like to shut up a smoke detector at 3am! I will be getting these for gifts for my family members, even though my not-yet-a-homeowner old son will probably not be too thrilled .... until he needs it someday! Easy to extend, nice fluid motion to collapse, great design.

Heavy but collapses to a small size. I made the mistake of leaving it outside my RV in the rain. The folding mechanism hasn't worked correctly since. Really have to work to get it to both collapse and extend. Keep it dry and it will work fine.

Finicky to extend and latch. I used it maybe 4 times. Today the bottom cap broke and it won't latch at all. Trash.

What an amazing invention. I was looking for a compact ladder to reach the loft in my mountain mancave without taking up much room. This collapsible ladder is extremely sturdy and opens and closes without severing any fingers. It is somewhat heavy, but that just contributes to a feeling of steadiness while using it. I plan on getting a second one after I finish a “she-shed” for my wife.

Everyday chores. Easy to handle and carry. This ladder really is the best.

Follow instructions. You must extend from the bottom or it will not work. This does make it problematic if you are not strong enough to lift the full weight with all the rungs collapsed, but it does work. For those not strong enough, I recommend lying it down, extending from the top and the lock into place from the bottom up. However, once extended properly, it does work. Just remember, all unused rungs must be at the top.

In life....we need different ladders for different things and this one in the 10 foot height is perfect for our new barn. If we had gotten the longer one in this..It would be too heavy etc. for what we are using it for. This one is perfect.
