My Kenny has struggled with allergies this year, along with irritated ears and a few hot spots. We’ve been to the vet and have tried prescribed medications. I’ve also tried home remedies and allergy vitamins. Nothing has helped until this spray was recommended to me. Admittedly, I was not too hopeful and was a little disappointed with the high cost. But we started using this daily, and it has changed the game for us. I have not seen Kenny scratching or digging at his ears. He’s not scratching at the rest of his body, and his hotspot has completely disappeared! I just cannot believe it. I usually spray a good amount on a cotton round and wipe the inside of each ear. I then spray all over his coat and brush him really well. It’s become our nightly routine. And though this isn’t in the description, the spray seems to have a conditioning property with no scent. His coat is softer than ever before. It’s been less than a week, and I’m convinced this will always be in the cupboard. Kenny is so much happier and so much more comfortable, and that is worth everything to me. I would spend any amount of money. Get this for yourself, add it to your subscription plan, do what you gotta do. Your dog, or other pet, will be so grateful.

Our elderly Belgian/Q.H. cross horse developed a terrible case of rain rot due to an extremely wet summer in Florida, including 12" of rain in 3 days when Irma came through. Due to his age, it was very hard to treat. He developed sores on his belly, chest, upper legs, neck, and even on his face. I tried a couple of other products, but had limited success. Then I read how Banixx won awards for a non-irritating treatment for rain rot that didn't require painful removal of the scabs associated with the condition. Banixx actually penetrates the scabs, and treats the underlying condition. Other treatments require painful removal of the scabs (try that with a 1500 lb. draft cross!!! Dangerous!) so their formulation can work. I immediately bought some Banixx, and started spraying it on our poor suffering old guy. The transformation was amazing! With 2 spray applications the first day, all of his sores started to dry up. Localized swelling immediately went down. He stopped biting at the affected areas, and visibly relaxed. The scabs started falling off, and the skin underneath looked healthy. Within 5 days of starting a 2x/day treatment, the sores on his face are gone (it will take a while for the hair on his face to grow back, but at least the rain rot is stopped). The sores on his chest are now also healed. The sores on his belly are the slowest to heal, but they are nearly there. I will continue to spray the solution on until he is completely healed. Thankfully, he is no longer in pain, and he is no longer itching. The Banixx spray is amazing. I have to spray it on his face, but it absolutely doesn't irritate his eyes at all. He is a rescue, is head-shy from prior rough handling, and yet I can spray it around his face without him reacting. He seems to understand that the spray is what is making him feel better. He is a sweet old guy, but his age makes him super vulnerable to skin issues. Especially here in Florida, where skin problems in the summer are rampant. Thank goodness we are finally out of the wet/humid season. I also put him into a stall any time I expect rain. He doesn't like to be stalled, and he does stiffen up when kept in, but until I get the rain rot completely eradicated, I have to stall him in any rainfall. Thanks to Banixx, I hope to have him completely healed in a week or so. Next spring and summer, I'll spray it on him with his 3x/week grooming as a preventative. I cannot recommend Banixx highly enough! If I could give the formula 10 stars, I would.

I used it for my dogs at the beginning of their allergy season, making sure to use on hot spots, itching, and general skin irritation. They experienced no negative side effects, and was easy to spray and apply, as well as saving money from vet bills!

Works Great in all animals and doesn't sting either!

If you're here because you've tried everything else - this is not your cure, don't waste your money on it. Just go to the vet. You likely need some high powered stuff if you're here out of desperation, and only vets can give you the answers you need. This product works as part of a proactive/preventive regimen once you've already gotten the issue under control with other medications and/or treatments. It's basically and mostly just clean water. ***It doesn't treat, soothe, or help heal anything.*** It simply helps you keep areas/wounds clean to try and maintain an environment where fungus and infection don't want to live or thrive. However, if your animal already suffers with frequent fungal issues, skin allergies, and ear infections, this will not help. You need a stronger preventative measure than this. Especially when it comes to ear infections. This product is advertised as being helpful for ear fungal infections but I wouldn't recommend it. Your just putting water in the ear and making it a wet environment which is the opposite of what the ear needs if it's already squishy with infection. As for fungus control, it would be more effective to use an antifungal cream like Athlete's Foot which serves the same purpose and also has added benefits of certain soothing properties. (I hope these tips help other pet parents struggling like I was. We found out our girl is prone to fungus and ear infections because she has allergies. She will always get them, there's really no cure, so we just have to try to prevent them through proactive measures like her monthly allergy shot, daily fish oil, fungal shampoo, and tea tree oil. These suggestions were all recommended by our vets but you should always okay it with yours first.)

This product works amazing!!! We have a golden retriever who often gets yeast infections in his ears. They STINK and we have tried SO many over the counter solutions with no success. My SIL recommended this product. We are on day 4 and his ears not only smell WAY less, they’re not inflamed and red anymore, he’s not scratching them, and they’re staying cleaner. The product has no foul smell, is very easy to use, no issues with staining.

Our rescue dog developed a hotspot on his right front leg. Vet thoroughly examined it. Conclusion was it appeared to be a "hotspot" caused by allergies. Treatment was prescriptive med for allergy and antibiotic for hotspot that was moist and with slight yellowing on margins of the sore, suggesting infection. A bonnet collar was to be worn to keep him from licking the spot. Used the allergy meds and antibiotic but collar was unacceptable to this formerly abused 10 year old dog. No improvement in 2 wks. decided to look at OTC meds for hotspots. Settled on this product after reading reviews. Grateful it is marketed in 8oz bottle with easy squirt mechanism. Has no detectable odor. Used 1/2 a cottonball saturated with the Banixx liquid. Our pet did not avoid the product due to any odor or sting. Applied 2-4x/day and rubbed his sweet spot to keep him still until rapid drying occurred. He did not attempt to lick the place after treatment, if it was dry. Within a week it it began to show improvement and spot became dry. He has been kept on allergy med but I do not at present plan to refill it unless a new hotspot develops. Cannot tell you Banixx was responsible for the improvement considering he had the week of antibiotic med and stayed on the allergy med. However, the hotspot is now thoroughly healed. If he breaks down again, I will use Banixx for 7-10 days before paying prescriptive allergy med prices. I was pleased with the product whether it was responsible for the fast change in the hotspot or whether it was just supplemental to the healing.

Excellent product. A bit pricey (due to the transportation from the US) but it actually works. It is not toxic, no irritant and effective.
